Are these things the new Frozen Yogurt/Burgers/Gourmet Donuts?
I mean, Doughnut time just expanded to the UK. I think they'll be around for a while yet.
Op it's 100 free bowls and $5 bowls all day.
This franchise has fail written all over it
Why?
Did you have a negative experience with us?
P.s. We aren't franchised.
Its a trend and unfortunately these days trends just don't last, even in the food world. Having tried Poke bowls a few times from various places, I've found you get more fish in the Japanese bowls and the rice is better cooked. At $13.95 for regular size, its getting expensive for food court food. For a few $ more, I could sit down in a Japanese restaurant and have very good quality Chirashi Zushi with sides. From an Ozbargain value for money point of view, I could buy 5 to 6 sushi rolls for $12.50 and have more fish and rice than what is in one Poke bowl, albeit, without the irrelevant sprinklers on top. For the meat side of things, I could just go to the asian takeaway in the food court and ask for the stir fried beef and rice to be served in a bowl rather than a plate. Cost would be $10 and would be larger than your regular size. If you lowered your price point for the regular down to $9.95 and $11.95 respectively it would make it more competitive with other similar foods. Anyway….good luck to the business, especially if its Australian owned and operated.
You're right about trend. I just posted about another place opening in the Docklands (800 Collins) on Thursday.
"5 to 6 sushi rolls for $12.50" Actually they're $2 each at Touki ;)
FYI it's been pushed back to the 28th (:
Free Poke Balls, awesome! I was just about to run out and didn't want to pay :)
