    They gave me about 3.4% for last 6 months, 9.99% isn't a bargain.

    • yeah, ignore this email, wait for a few months and Amex will offer lower rate

        No idea.

        They sent me an offer via snail mail and I had to log into my account to accept it…

        I think it's about to expire… It doesn't tell you on the statement the expiry date so I guess they catch a lot of people out that way with higher interest rates at the end of that period.

    Got 3.99% for six months on my DJs AMEX

    Got an offer for 3.99% for 6 months on my AMEX issues card.

    I've never carried a balance though so limited value.

      That depends on where the money is coming from to pay it off and how much that is costing you.

      • Exactly what i was thinking. Economics is very complicated and everything is linked. Connecting the dots is important.
