that's some overpriced computer systems. But of course not everyone knows or has the time to build a computer, so meh.

With that price you have already paid for the game.

I can't build a PC myself and I've been looking around for a top gaming rig. I have been looking at DELL, Alienware, Scorpion Technology and iBuyPower was the only one that offered 3 year warranty and prices were cheaper then the other stores. And I was going to pre-order Crysis 2, and now I dont have to!

By the way, I just rang them to find out, and they said they will post the game out to me same day as release! :)

that depends on where you live, so many compuer shops nowdays can help you build the system , what you have to do is just pick a package/parts. the money you save from it can get you more than a copy of crysis 2(limited edition).

+1 Take the same configure to MSY and see how much they can offer you should be a lot cheaper.

    • MSY would be a good choice, prices are consistently low. so all you do is pick the parts and they can build it for you.

        • Never buy their systems, they throw in the worst parts imaginable into their system bundles. SHAW cases and power supplies anyone?
They get their slow moving stock (unpopular items) sold this way.

Best to get consultation from Whirlpool and see what others say about your build.

Otherwise just use one of the many configuration lists from the WP Wiki:

          http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/rmp_sg_whirlpoolpcs_gaming_conf…

        • I'll have to chime in a +1 to what scrimshaw said. MSY is not a place to get your PC built…. Buy parts from, yes. There is a reason they are the cheapest and it has everything to do with their service. :P

Honestly, comparing the price of the Terminator X58 in the link provided vs. current prices, it's pretty decent. And considering the fact that it comes with a 3 year warranty, makes it even better. Add on that all the systems are tested + installed for you and I don't think the asking price is that unreasonable.

        • computer shop now days only charge around $70-$90 to build+test+install OS for you, if you luck sometimes they will do that for free, thats only if you purchase all the parts for them. the only warranty you need is the hardware bits, you are buying a pc you might as well learn how to take care of it.

If you take your whole system back for warranty, you will have no idea what they've done to it and might charge you extra for changing some hardware(which they didn't change any).

    • I am not trying to negative your post I just want peoples know what is real bargain the difference can be very big and don't get ripoff.

      My sockpuppet sense is tingling.

  • UMART isnt too shabby either.

  • wow, overpriced systems!

Anyone can build a computer, infact its easier than putting LEGO together..

I did it 2 years ago and my PC is still kickass and runs all the latest games perfectly. Cost me 2k though including monitor, gaming keyboard and mouse etc.
