Apparently this was a real classic at the time. Added to my pile of shame, thanks!

I played it in 2003. I didn't think there was anything classic about it. The puzzles were not challenging. But the graphics looked good. It lacked humor. When an adventure game lacks humor, it needs to have a really good serious story, and I thought it was ok but not TLJ level. I would have given it a solid 7.5 or 8 at the time.

I didn't play 2 or 3 though. 2's been on my pile of shame also.

  • Great game. Thanks for this.

Excellent. More games I will probably never ever play. Cheers!

  • Did anyone else's GOG open up in Portuguese?

  • Weird, my Switch thinks this old thing is worth nearly fifty bucks.

  • Thanks another collection

  • Not to be confused with this game https://youtu.be/v-3kGq6RKYo

  • Thanks

  • Was going to buy this at one point when it was 75% off. Thanks!

  • Could someone explain to me how this GOG thing works? Do I need to create a GOG account first?

    • Just create a new account and add it to your library and you can download and play.

I rank this as one of the best adventure games I've ever played.

Grab that on GOG if you've never played it.

There's a remaster for that game. I would suggest getting that version. I played the original a few years ago and it has not aged well. I had a lot of gripes with that game.

      • I played the remaster about a year ago. The controls are a little aggravating, but the story made it worth it. This and Omikron are the only David Cage games (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, etc.) on anything other than Playstation.

        • Yeah I think it used tank controls.

I played on PC, so the dual analog QTEs felt pointless and annoying. There is this very annoying stealth sequence shoehorned in as a flashback. This was in an era where every game threw in one stealth level somewhere for shit n giggles. It drove me insane.

I didn't think the story was that great. The revelation wasn't twisty enough. And then it got all weird. Won't spoil.

I loved Heavy Rain though, except for the voice acting. That was a game where your decisions mattered, and anyone who says they didn't never had a character die mid game.

Didn't play BTS because I heard bad things about it. But I am looking forward to Detroit.

  • This is a great game and a great deal. However this may sound silly but I rate this deal even higher because of TA and all of his contribution to this community. Thanks for your continuous effort mate.

  • yeh!!! another game i will prob never play. but thanks op
