I think this just turned up recently. The Golden Meal for the BBQ Bacon lovers expired today so I guess this is the replacement. Get two of these for $8 with the $2 off $10 spend on the app.

With the app, you can get it outside of the 10am-2pm window. Judging by the stability of the app, I presume this is because the software developers didn't know how to make the deal sensitive to time.
Take off the tomato, lettuce and mcwrap sauce and you got yourself a qtr pounder small meal for $5.
Gotta add two pickles and a piece of cheese as well ;)

The iced tea is only available in-store (not via the app) - a shame because I actually prefer the taste, the discount is just a bonus.
A doubt a 15 cent reduction is worth it - water is free anyways whether asking for a cup of water from maccas or having it at home.

Tried this tonight at North Perth. Used the app for 2 x $5 meals with the deal for $8 total. But the app would not get past the last step of the order process. The manager behind the till would not honor the deal.

Unless they had a Crack at fixing the time sensitivity of the deal. But typically it just means your app is busted and you have to delete and reinstall.
The Maccas app is like a first car. It has 10% chance of working the first time.

I can confirm the $5 mcfeast was dropped for just over a week in september before it reinstated

You need to apply the voucher found on the front of the app which takes $2 off when u spend $10
