Was hoping to find their usual Turducken deal around this time of the year, but alas, found a pork belly deal instead. USually $15.99/kg, so get some pork on your fork. Not sure how much their delivery is, as I usually pick up instead.

yummm will taste great after 5 days for Australia post to get it to you…
Recipe:
Place your pork belly with its skin -up and score the skin in a checkers pattern. Place on draining rack over your kitchen sink and slowly pour 6 cups of boiling water over the skin. Allow to drain and pat-dry. Set aside uncovered in refrigerator overnight sitting in marinade but not covering skin.
Marinade
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 teaspoons crushed ginger
2 teaspoons Chinese five spice
¼ cup of Light Soy sauce
¼ cup of Hoi sin sauce
¼ cup Sherry (sweet or dry)
(¼ cup water to be added when reducing to become sauce)
Ready to start:
Remove the pork but keep the marinade. Rub one teaspoon of salt over the Pork skin and place on a foil lined tray skin-up in a 180°C oven for 45 minutes.
Brush with oil and sprinkle lightly with salt. Place under a hot grill for a few minutes until the skin is crisp and golden.
Meanwhile, place the reserved marinade in a saucepan uncovered & add the extra water and reduce for several minutes until lightly thickened to become sauce. My problem is the skin is never crispy enough to cut by normal knife :(. But I haven't tried to pour hot water over skin. What will this help ?
After meat is cooked, heat up a frypan and place the entire pork belly skin side down for a short while.
Seen versions of this before really got to make the effort one day,
now if they listed via eBay with buy it now so we could tap into 10 or 20% off that would it taste even better.
