    How about an extension for TPG customers who were confused when you closed the offer at 9 am instead of the end of the day?

      Agree. My TPG mobile monthly bill ends on the second day of each month. Would be nice to have a longer time for the offer.

      • TPG refunds for any unused portion AFAIK

        • Do they? The 2 times I did they say they dont do that, only that if I dont touch the next month credit, they will refund the full amount o.o

    • I dont have an optus locked phone but I would assume so because it says I am connected to "optus"..+ its an optus simcard haha

        It would probably foster good will if you replied to all questions, not just the one with easy answers. Like my question at the top of the thread and the questions ignored on the previous TPG thread about the funny finish time of 9 am, which wasn't posted in the original post.

        Being in business sometimes means admitting you stuffed up and fixing the mistake if possible Ignoring it on forums such as this just makes people less likely to use your services because you are not being completely open and honest.

        I like my LiveConnect service and have been very happy with the quickness and helpfulness of support. Try to replicate that on OzBargain too.

          If it can't be done, a simple 'no' looks much better than seemingly ignoring the message (as you have obviously replied after the previous post was made).

          @gotbean - some of my questions were unanswered in the other TPG listing too, until I specifically "called out" for him to answer. Though, I think this request of extending the deal past 9am is more reasonable than my request. Either way though, I would've appreciated an answer.

    To the dad that just changed his daughters prepaid Telstra to this Live Connected plan. BE PREPARED TO CRY.

  • TPG Dont refund any unused portion. My TPG bill starts on the first of every month. I e-mailed them on Thursday and this was thier reply:

    "Dear Sharon,
    Please be advised that your mobile has to remain active should you wish to port in your mobile service number to another provider otherwise, porting in of your number will fail.
    Should your mobile be transferred to your new provider in the middle of your billing cycle, please note that there will be no partial refund.
    Kindly let us know once you are activated with your new provider so we may update your account.
    Please be advised as well that a port out fee of $11 will apply.
    As per our terms and conditions;
    "6.6. We may charge you a fee to port the phone number to another carrier or carriage service provider.
    6.7. You must not cancel the service before you port the phone number. The carrier or carriage service provider to which you have ported the phone number will inform us that you have ported the phone number and we will cancel the service."
    Please be advised as well that any remaining Outside Cap deposit will be credited back to your TPG account 30 days after the account has been canceled.

    Please let me know if I can further assist you.

    I'm $37.00 in credit and I would have lost it all if I had of switched over. Also I felt like my questions regarding the cost of retrieving a viocemail which is $1.20 minimum by the way, were ignorged by Live Connected.

    I've been looking for a new provider since Virgin jacked up their long expiry call rates last month and just couldn't resist with the bonus $40 credit.

    I'm just hoping the porting across all goes to plan!

    Is the excess data cost included in the cap?
    Also is there a port out fee, if I decide to transfer to another company in the future?
