This name should have been reserved for a woman's vibration assisted relaxer.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was already…

LOL. I signed in just to like this haha

    • One side screws and the other side screws as well…

  • Important question - which one do I want: this, or Wiha ( https://www.banggood.com/XIAOMI-Wiha-25-in-1-Screwdrivers-Ki… ). I can see they have moreless the same screwbits. Price is similar. This one is electrical, is the other one better quality? But can be anything wrong with quality of this one?

    • Go the Wiha, at least with these you're less likely to strip out the head on a screw…

      • same here, seems more solid

  • What? It's not wireless? ;-p

I am pretty sure that you need to download an app to operate this electric screwdriver, and you need to set your smartphone to the Mainland China region or else the screwdriver won't sync correctly.

  • is this like a dr.who screwdriver or something.

    wouldnt mind one if legit

  • Thanks OP I just bought one.

I bought one of these before, pure rubbish. It won't tighten the screw at all, just too weak.

    • Damn. Thats dissapointing. Was hoping it would replace my crappy Bunnings one. Is this the first product Xiaomi has made that has failed?

What screw were you tightening? Into what material?

    • it is a failure product. the handle is slippery as there is no rubber grip for a matte aluminum texture. no speed control, also weak in torque. youtube reviewers commonly say need to start with a manual twist before you press the button to start auto rotating.

Doesn't sound like your the target audience. I had an idea once, probably while I was screwing in a really long screw by hand for the millionth time: a screwdriver that was ultra thin, barely wider than the AAA battery that powered it. It used a motor from a old cd drive or something, that span really fast. Obviously being so small and fast, the tradeoff would be loss of torque, so to compensate you could push a button which would 'lock' the shaft in place. Once locked the screw could be manually turned.

This product is this idea, except better. It's not used for tightening screws, just getting them to the place where you can tighten by hand. Its not a drill, a driver or really a screwdriver.
