UKParaPack Pre-hospital Medical Guidelines for iPhone/iPad - FREE via iTunes (EXPIRED)

110

Described by many as the most easily navigable prehospital medical guidelines available in the world. This is the only licensed version of the JRCALC (Joint Royal College Ambulance Liaison Committee) guidelines currently available on the iPhone. These guidelines offer one of the most comprehensive compendiums for the management of all prehospital emergencies. These guidelines are adopted throughout the U.K. as the "Gold Standard" of care.

Or you could just look it up on the web. Why does every little thing have to be a friggin' app?
Because a "free" web page is not exciting?

    • because apps can be more feature rich… (and don't have to have the internet available)

      • Oh yeah, good point. I forgot the iPhone does not let you save or read local files. Unbelievable how many restrictions Steve put on that device. A thing of beauty and endless frustration (I have the iTouch).

        • Although without the app store as a central point for purchases, anything would go. I remember the bad days when stores would only stock the top 50 programs, and purchasing online, sometimes was a real crap shoot, may or may not even receive it.

As for music you had to buy the whole album for one track….

As for saving files locally from the web have you tried …

  • Hi this looks really interesting, for those that have no ipad/iphone, is there any way to view this at all on a home pc? (apologies if this is a stupid question)

Do you have to keep repeating yourself on this? It's not like ALL the free apps are posted here, it's only those particularly good/worth it ones.

      • although in fairness xint27 didnt criticise or neg the posting, just advised where you can find these free listings.
