Some Indian food items on sale at coles…
Which ones? Bhelpuri is awesome.
The noodles
Full of salt and other crap. Just like other instant noodles. Choose your own poison ;)
@ms: I agree. The noodles are very salty.
never seen these at my local Coles. which Coles is this OP
These products have been added in Coles supermarkets in last 2 weeks. Please check again in your store.
Where is the deal? You can get those noodles for 99c from Indian stores. This one is 1c expensive.
These are not expired/close to expiry.
Same goes for those in Indian Store as well. Also, other products are cheaper.
the 4-pack of noodles ?
Noodles are always under $1 at Indian store. Some times on special you can get under 70c.
Bhelpuri is good but read ingredients carefully as any times there is surprise in actual ingredients in many imported products.
that looks like the 4pack of noodles. i dont think its that cheap at Indian stores
Ah the old Manchurian noodles and bhel puri combo. Not even the flies want to come inside after I've eaten those. Toot toot!
These are very good deal for WA residents. All the above items are very expensive in Indian stores in WA.
Also to add, they have Frooti bottles for $1 and Haldiram Gulab Jamun 16 pc tin for $5
Price Comparison from Indian store (WA) to Coles
Haldiram Gulab Jamoon - Indian Store ( $7 - $7.5 ) - Coles $5
Ching's Noodles - Indian Store ($1.5 ) - Coles $1
Haldiram Bhelpuri - Indian Store ( $1.5 - $2) - Coles &1.5
MTR Badam Milk 6 pack - Indian Store ($6.5 - $8) - Coles $4.5
Brittania milk rusk 620gm - Indian Store ($4 - $5.5) - Coles $4
I was literally at Coles yesterday and saw no sign of these. In addition, "while stocks last" doesn't exactly scream new product like some have said - more like old product clearance.
So where is this OP?
VIC Metro Vermont South..
I got my stuff from Ringwood square.
@ms: No idea where that is, but guessing it's still VIC metro.
@pennypincher98:
Yes.
Was in Coles Hurstville last week. Badam drink is awesome. Absolutely loved it.
I tried these.. They are not good
