  • Is this the budget model? I thought Kitchen-aid's were around the $500-600 mark.

    • -1

It is a smaller version, and costs around 500-600, and the spiritalizer is about 150-200.

I am guessing it is a pricing error, so save your time and don't bother.

      • Definitely not. Been this price for a few weeks now and my friend bought one and received it already. Think it's ugly colour discount. Was going to post it when I saw it but slipped my mind.

        • With the price going back up - let's hope that there was an abundance of stock due to 'ugly colour' ordering and now that normal stock levels have been reached, the price has been adjusted back to normal.

Otherwise - I may have to reject their rejection of my purchase - lol

        • +1

          @Sainter Dad:

Just an update - I received my KitchenAid today - Empire Red WITH the spiralizer. Will be wrapped and under the stairs for Christmas by this evening.

      • +2

Luckily not everyone was dumb enough to take your advice lol

  • Think this is a pricing error. The same model in other colours are selling for $799.

    • +17

It was indeed a pricing error, see my response later on in this thread. We will be honouring the orders that were made at the $281 price.

      • Thanks for doing what TGG failed to do. I really thought I was getting that speakers for $19 lmao

        • +1

TGG screwed me over on a SMEG freestanding stove, would not honor the 20% ebay deal

But E&S Trading matched the discounted price, so a BIG thanks to them

        • @8200: They've (TGG) been trying to sell the business but no takers. #ShiversInAmazon

        • @philipmak:

TGG has been sold and is owned by JB HiFi Group

  • Too good to be true, Kitchenaid is never discounted much

  • -6

when i added to cart, it just came up with the spiralizer for $280, didn't include the mixer. Becareful, dont get caught out buying just the spiralizer!

    • +2

lol, you must be super pissed right now if you didn't purchase it

  • +1

Order went through okay for me, was definitely the Mixer and Spiraliser in my cart. I will report back!

  • Tempting but i might pass since big price error. Will regret if they allow it though..

    • +2

      It's free to try.

      • Maybe in theory but i'd still be down $281 for a few days if it's not honoured.

        • I assume you've only got a debit card?

    • +1

      Regretting?

      • Of course! But that's how it goes sometimes :)

  • +3

Having a crack. The order confirmation email shows the Mixer and Spiralizer as two separate items.
$225 for the mixer and $56 for the attachment.

    • +1

Same here. Listed separately in the email, but a combined listing in the cart ('mini tilt head stand mixer with spiralizer'). Their ebay price is similar, so fingers crossed they've not stuffed up!

      • This is how it looks in the email. Apologies for not knowing how to keep the formatting.

5KSM3311XATB KAID MINI ARTI MIXER TW BLUE AUS-POST 1 $225
        5KSM1APC KAID SPIRAL. MIXER ATTCHMENT AUS-POST 1 $56

        • How long did it take for the confirmation email to come through?

        • @danboy4: Pretty much instantly.

        • @TheProbe: wasn't exactly a confirmation, more an acknowledgement of order. Says it will be reviewed by staff so more than enough of a chance for them to cancel. But here's hoping!

  • +1

    Can't help giving it a try 😁

  • Maybe some idiot in marketing stuffed up and they have a huge surplus in the warehouse cause everyone hates blue.

    • +2

I love Blue. But I dont bake. Blue won

    • +3

No idiot involved in any department.

This (appears to be) a very rare glitch in the pricing automation that we run across our products. No one internally picked it up and it had been quietly chugging along, getting lower and lower in price until OP discovered it and posted it to OzB.

      • Say what now? You mean if the OP had waited a bit, the price cld've been even LOWER? Dang it!! ;)

        • +5

Yes, the pricing R&D team pulled up a price history of this particular product. Looks like it's been live for just under a year and the price has gradually dropped over the course of 12 months.

They speculate that the system would have dropped it to ~$100 if it went unnoticed.

So they are 'happy' that this glitch was discovered.

        • @AppliancesOnline.com.au:

At least half of the 190 buyers just let out a collective "DOH" !

Skynet will be upon us soon!

  • But really y'all, don't count ur chickens (donuts, since its a baking thingy) till the courier hands the mixer over

  • +1

good find thanks OP! fingers crossed it goes through

  • +1

Even if the deal is nixed, Thanks OP

    • Nixed? Too early in the morning

  • +1

Gotta be in it to win it. Thanks OP! Let's at least hope for a speedy refund if it does not go through.

  • Paid with PayPal an hour ago and am yet to receive my confirmation email from Appliances online

    • +1

FYI it was in my junk. I have confirmed my order will be honoured :)

  • +1

Just bought one, got the receipt with the item split costing. No risk to try!

PayPal and also receipt from Appliances Online both came through instantly.

  • +1

    Thank you. Got one!

  • +1

Paid by Paypal, got my order received email - see what happens!

    • It could be refurbished

      • Warranty seems to state otherwise though:

        Warranty
        5 Years
        Warranty Note
Full 5 years parts and labour against manufacturer's fault for household use

And it isn't listed as refurbd so….

        • +1

Yeah, first thing I checked was to make sure it wasnt a Refurb.

      • This is the mini version which is 20% smaller than the regular one.
        http://www.kitchenaidmini.com.au/?gclid=CjwKCAjwgvfOBRB7EiwA…

      • +4

These are all new. Most will be so absolutely sparkling brand new since we have to order them directly from KitchenAid!

        • OUCH, that is a big burn, full marks for taking the hit

  • Very tempting. Can anyone share their views on this mini mixer compare to normal size mixer? I got Kenwood mixer with additional attachments (used once) so was deliberating if I should buy this and sell that one. Thanks.

    • +2

Gist of most of the reviews I've read is that the bigger one is ultimately better.

Able to take more of a beating (pun no 1) apparently. But unless ur a heavy duty user, the mini wld more than meet most ppl's neads (pun no 2)

    • -3

Only 250w, so only good for whipping cream, hopeless for anything else.

      • The regular one only got 300w so They’re all only for more cream ?

      • The big one is only 300w so not much different I reckon.

      • +1

It is a direct drive motor so it compares very favorably to the higher wattage units by the other manufacturers.

  • +1

I thought it was overstock or a discontinued model because honestly blue wasn't my first choice. It's not that popular a colour so I thought it seemed legit. I've always wanted a kitchenaid mixer so I'd be a bit shattered if it was something pricing error. I'm really hoping it comes through but maybe they have the same I.T. Guys as the good guys…. $10 voucher maybe? lol

  • +3

Give a surprise to my wife she always want one

  • +1

They only sell brand new and not seconds or refurbished (refer to website)

  • It's almost 9:30 right now, you would assume they should've caught onto this by now….surely. Maybe there's a chance afterall :D

    • I think it was roughly 8.30am AEDT that we adjusted the price after finding that we had sold 190 of them overnight.

  • They just put the price up to $799. Interesting to see if any get the goods

  • Now $799

  • Never quick enough to catch a price error. (What a price error month~~~ )

  • Back to $799 damn

  • +8

    Hi there,

I work for AOL and I can confirm that we can honour the price of $281 until 18/10/17.

If you are interested email it me at Mod: Removed email. RIP Inbox

    • That is great news, thanks. Any color available, as long as it is blue? :)

      • Just from checking a few models, it appears that its only the blue model

        • What if you keep the spiralizer and we can get a different colour ?

    • That's great! Just sent you an email :)

    • Can you confirm that the deal is still available? I just checked the site and the price has gone back to 799 :(

    • +1

Thanks a lot, added to op.

    • +4

      Hi all,

Appliances Online is only honouring the orders that were made prior to the price adjustment this morning.
The customers that bought this product from us at $281 will get their KitchenAid Mixers and Spiralizers at this price.
Unfortunately we can not sell any more of these mixers+spiralizers at the old price.

  • $449 at myer. If you use woolworths egift card (through cashrewards) to buy myer gift card (currently with 10% bonus) plus myer one points (worth $10). You can choose any colour…some colours cost a bit more.

  • +1

Just emailed Jake, unfortunately its only to honor existing orders. No new orders :(

    • +1

      Dam! Disabled his account too.

      • His account being disabled here is fine. Wondering if he get's fired from AOL. Hope it's not the case !

    • So do we have to email Jake to get it honoured?

      • Wait. Im a little confused. So anyone that ordered earlier, needs to email Jake specifically?

        • Jake, please confirm with us

        • I did email Jake and confirmed my order will be honoured. I'm a little confused as to will they honour this price for new orders. These blokes have already gone beyond the usual pricing error go bugger off attitude which is great, if they go beyond that and honour any new orders then absolutely good on them.

        • @mini2:

Yeah need to be a little patient and not flip out, Jake sounds like a standup guy.

In any case I've sent him an email, hopefully he replies soon.

My order went in at 0700 this morning so for sure I was one of the early ones, not too worried.

        • @X3:

Nah not flipping out on him. If I get it I get it, if I don't I won't be crying over spill milk.

        • @mini2:

Oh no no, wasnt saying ur flipping out.

Just imagining ppl that havent gotten confirmation yet, wld be getting frustrated AF right abt now

        • Please do not email that address.

The orders we are honouring are those that were made before the price was corrected.

For anyone confused, please read what we posted here:

  • How can it not be honoured by AOL?
The rep confirmed in writing on this thread that they can honour the price until 18/10.

  • +1

jake could be anyone lol.. his email is not even AOL

    • Exactly what I thought, so I checked the domain address and Winning own AOL, amongst other companies.
Sent an email and no bounce-back, so email addr is at least legit.

Appliances Online are part of the Winning Group

    • A subsidiary of Sheen enterprises?

      • Sure hope not ;)

  • This has to be the most underrated deal in ozbargain history. I know it's the mini but damn! Great price, thanks OP!

    • It was more or less the same price as this ~6 years ago for a full size through one of those Amex Offers deals.

Bought 2, sold one to a mate at cost price then his missus proceed to sell it for a profit some years later. Let me tell ya I wasn't fkn happy.

      • Those deals were very hard to get though, I remember getting a tv and tablet through there but it was pretty hard. Missed the mixer. Your username rings a bell now though haha you dominated that deal.

        • I was working for a telco at the time and had 10 PC's at my disposal. That helped :P

        • @mini2: hahahahha I bet, I had two and it was stressful enough. Was it you who unmasked the direct links? Ahh the memories…

        • @911r:

It was between someone else and me IIRC.

  • As far as I knew, from my previous purchased from AOL they will honour the price. Having said that you may never know what is going to happen this time. However, Jake memtioned they will honour till 18/10/17 but I am confused why the price has gone up now! it not 18th yet.
