@spriggan43: no he transfers to sd card he said streaming was always buffering. He said the files are big cause you want get get high quality so its a slow transfer. He just hasn't found a better way yet.
Pornhub has VR content, and it stream pretty well on a 20Mb ADSL connection…..so a friend told me.

How does one control vr without the controller? Do you play the media first and then attach the phone to the gear?

they use the Oculus software, they are much better than the generic ones.
you can watch AFL live with them, its not HD though but its still impressive, fells like a massive 3m screen.
brought this one from telstra ebay for $12 before. nice toy, but my s7 won't work for a long time due to overheat. have to stop for a while. not sure other models. i only played this for couple of times.
