  • I know you can plug AU plugs into the board but can you plug the board to an outlet?

EDIT It seems so, but happy to be proven wrong.

    • Yes you can.

The plug will be upside down however.

      • Chop the end off and replace it with a normal plug or rear entry plug if you so prefer.

I guess if it's a legit deal, that's still kosher? TA has a similar arrangement with the deals he arranges?

Curious what ozb thinks on this.

      • TA has a similar arrangement with the deals he arranges?

        He works for Cashrewards…

        • Haha so you mean he doesn't get anything for his gearbest etc posts?

But yeah generally we do or don't like paid deals?

@incipient: Gearbest have had year long bans previously. They're well aware of the rules and would never pay someone off to post. They certainly didn't when I asked for a deal the other day. Sunny is more than happy to provide coupons.

      • JD is one of the largest online retailers in China, it's basically ebay on steroids.

Dont really see a problem as long any promotions are clearly labelled as affiliated.

        • as long any promotions are clearly labelled as affiliated.

Let me preface this with the fact that I know altomic wouldn't take the deal if he/she was offered it by joybuy

The problem will be that people won't mark themselves as associated, as the store currently is banned from associated posts. Hence them trying to get people to post on their behalf.

  • The whole board has a maximum of 2500w? That seems really low.

    • Aus normally limits to 10A which is about same anyway.
Edit: wait, how did they get 2500w from 3.1 A?

Wait yep I'm thick. It's normal!!

      • OP is referring to usb 5V —- 3.1A
        so confusing.

What do you plan to plug into it? 2.5kw is a fair bit!
