Didn't think Amaysim had any long expiry data plans any more? I'm with them but I wish they hadn't discontinued their 365 day data pack. As it is I have to pay $10/GB/month if I want data. LE data packs are good for people who want a bit of data but all the time. Of course this requires a dual SIM phone if you want voice and text also.
These deals come up every so often, 6 months of amaysim for quite a cheap price. Sometimes it goes under $3 a month. Also similar vaya ones.
Agree it's not really a data sim but oh well :P
$20 is more than I want to pay per month, unfortunately.
@greenpossum: This is for 6 months though :) Only 2GB / month though.
@pennypincher98: Ah missed that. Not sure I could have used it as an existing customer.
@greenpossum: doesn't take much to port out and then back in :)
@pennypincher98: I'm not risking my number for that. I'll wait until I have a true dual SIM phone per explanation below.
@greenpossum: Oh well I guess each to their own.
Considering Vodafone's network, I am not surprised. I am under contract with them but luckily I have dual SIM and using amaysim on other..
It's actually fairly decent in metro areas as far as my experience with them goes. Unfortunately my dual SIM phone became a single SIM phone when the 2G network was turned off so at the moment I'm using a candy bar phone on the side until I use up my stash of starter kits or I get a proper dual SIM phone. So I'm actually not buying this deal this time around.
Mine is old phone too, running amayaim on 4g and Voda on 2g .. currently looking for budget upgrade..( keen on LG Q6 or Kogan Agora 6 Plus)..

50% of $50 prepaid mobile plans
Do you have to activate this by a particular time?
I doubt it. I only activated a Vodafone sim yesterday ($25 50% off) which I purchased around 6 months ago and got 10GB
it is a good deal, only the vodafone coverage is not so good.
i use a 4G modem that carries 30GB a year, roughly i use 1GB a week listening to youtube and radio while in traffic. so that works out 4GB a month, ten GB gets me 2.5 month and thats pretty good, i still have not find a 4GB a month for less than 15 data deal out there.
$15 for 5GB with Jeenee here
Or $16.90 for 5GB with Spintel
Or $18 for 5GB with Bendigo
Or $19 for 5GB with Vaya
Pick your poison!
thanks :) but i want it less than 15 lol, that 15 dollar one is the best so far.
If you want it for under $15, get a Woolworths gift card at 5% off, buy prepaid Visa card and pay Jeenee from that every month :)
No idea if that works lol
I am a very low user… I am still using the free data (was it 1 or 2Gb?) they gave out nearly a year ago, but expiring in the next few weeks.
Any suggestions on any wifi dongles that can be used by a couple of devices throughout a house? Only need it for amounts or to so don’t want to spend a fortune.
I believe this plan also come with free 30 sms so you can activate whatsapp but never work for me.
according to T&C, 30 sms credit only for recharge not for new activation.
Thanks for the info. Yet in My Vodafone portal, it shows 30 sms remaining.
I never got this to work neither.
Are there any deals for a cheap Vodafone dongle?? Want to use this from a dongle for my laptop.
Telstra/Optus ones can be unlocked either free or for a maximum of $3 and are half price every so often. Check Coles, woollies, big w, target, post office etc
wish I could buy more than 1
Just got this from woolworths for $20. Rrp was $50.
You should post that as a new deal for everybody's benefit.
I have to figure out how to do that LOL
Are you sure it's the same deal? cause from what I can see at woolworths they sell the $50 starter pack for $20 which only lasts 35days where as the deal on vodafone is 180days
10 / 6 = 1.67 GB per month.
25 / 6 = $4.17 per month.
Alright. Like it's not amaysing but it's still a good price.
