    Sorry but it's $120 Cheaper Here using POWER20. Need to neg to ensure people don't pay more than they need to.

    • +1

      I've been so tempted to get one, I just know DJI will release one next year with fold away arms and a 4k camera, like a mini Mavic.

      • +1

        Yeah I'd agree with you, drones are evolving very quickly and changes like that are always on the horizon.

      • Couple more generations and we'll see self-landing back-to-base tech with wireless charging and the ability to set them up for home security become the norm. That's what I'm waiting for.

    • -7

      So why didn't you post that deal then? You just neg people?

      • +3

        I can't post it as there is insufficient quantity as per the deal guidelines. Also I have only ever negged like 3 deals so far.

        • -2

          This was the first time I've heard of this site and friend suggested I should post a good deal, I don't usually deal with keyboard warriors like you doweyy so sorry for the inconvenience.

          @Jayemess888:

          All I was doing is trying to save people money, not attack you.

        • +1

          @doweyy: Ok no worries mate

        • @Jayemess888:

          Take it easy.

          It wasn't a personal attack.

        • Also I have only ever negged like 3 deals so far

          Only negged 3 Spark posts? Cause I found at least 8 deals you have negged. (not including deleted deals.)

          I got bored after page 33 of your vote history and gave up looking :D

        • +1

          @pegaxs:

          Oh damn, I honestly could only remember like max of 3-4 haha, I don't enjoy negging, I only ever do it when there's a much better deal elsewhere.

        • +1

          @doweyy:

          Well, I can assure you, you do like to throw out a lot of positive votes! ;) so, 8 still seems like a relatively insignificant number… all I saw in that post was…

          3 negs? Really? "Challenge accepted" :D

          I think got 8 negs in my first two pages… :/

        • @doweyy: I went back a fair bit and only counted 5, unsure about unpublished posts but most would have been positive. It's a good thing to neg anyway, especially store reps. I am too nice, should have negged this post.

          What was it looks to be called a keyboard warrior? Lol

        • +1

          @Savas:

          You really do put a lot of effort in sometimes haha, yeah I dislike negging but sometimes I just have to do it, pretty weird lol.

    • -5

      What a hero, spends more time negging people then posting deal…

      • +4

        I was advising people of the much lower price (as shown with a neg) as it wasn't able to be posted, I feel like that's fair enough.

      • +3

        Calm down mate.

        The POWER20 deal was already posted.

        Can't expect people to post every single item that falls under that sale.

        He wasn't personally attacking the OP.

      • Actually doweyy regularly posts amazing deals and useful comments.

    • Thanks, just purchased!
      Will claim TRS, bringing it down to a bargain price.

    Also, Highpoint has VIP Shopping day today so you get 10% off…

  • Weird - in the listings on their site it comes up as $1,099.95, but when you click through to the product page it's $999.95

    I recently bought a $4000 camera from Ted's, and they sent me a used one.

    Not saying it would happen with this deal, but I just thought it was a pretty shit thing.

    • 'Used' and 'returned' are two different things. You too could return it.

      • $4,000 for a camera that wasn't new/refurbished/returned is still pretty expensive. Unless it was a $10,000 he got for 60% off, it's still a shitty thing to do for a $4,000 camera.

        • What are they supposed to do with returned stock?

        • +1

          @Putnum:

          What should the retailer do? Inform buyers that it is opened stock/returned stock and let the customer decide if they still want it. Don't send it out as new/unopened stock. If I'm paying full retail, I don't want returned stock. Quite often people remove parts, steal parts or use it as a donor for spare parts on their broken item, or return their broken one that wouldn't have gotten warranty and keep the new one.

          There are a myriad of reasons why I won't accept a returned/opened stock item. So, if I bought something that was listed as brand new and it turned up and was obvious that it was returned or opened, it would be going back for a refund.

          Source: I work in spare parts and have worked in retail for many years, so I know what shit customers try and pull. I also know the bullshit stories salesmen try and push to move "opened/returned" stock at full retail price.

        • @pegaxs: I too worked in retail and sold cameras ranging from basic to mid-range SLR's. It's unfortunate that stuff gets returned for one reason or another, but by law the product is still 'new'.

        • +1

          @Putnum:

          I don't disagree. But as far as I am concerned, from previous/current experience is that as soon as it leaves the shop and gets opened, there is a really high possibility that the item has been tampered with, raided for parts, etc, etc.

          If the item was opened in the shop to show a customer, then yes, it is new. But so many times I have seen salesmen "claim" it was opened in store to show customers and it wasn't the case.

          And the law can state what it wants, but I, as a consumer, have the right to deny a product if it does not meet my standards. If I was buying something marked as "brand new" I would expect it as such. Fully wrapped and seals in place. I would not accept an "opened/returned" item in its place. The law can say that it can be sold as a new item, but does not stipulate that I must accept it.

          Story time. I once bought a "shop opened" iPad mini. They were honest and It was sold to me as "shop opened" and I was happy with the discount. Sales guy said it was only opened in the shop to show a customer. When I got it home, charger was not working, iPad had been locked out with an account and the serial number on the iPad did not match what was on the box. Found out later, the customer bought it, took the charger and thought, what the hell, I'll get the new iPad as well, put their blown charger and older iPad back in the box and gave it back as a "no thanks, not what I wanted" return.

          Best part, they refunded me 75% of what I paid for it and I kept the iPad. Apple released the other account as I had a receipt, changed charger under warranty and I still use it to this day.

          You know, or they could have told me that "under the law" it's still a new iPad…
