Not the best deal for Qantas points due to the $395 annual fee. But not bad either as the bonus points have increased:
15k more points than the previous deal

You should keep an eye on your credit score as they look at this also, try getcreditscore.com.au so you know what your playing with.
I'm at 616 which is categorized as just okay.
I hear each bank has different criteria for accepting cc applications. I got denied by St George and Qantas (Citibank). All my past applications with NAB have been successful, so I guess NAB has lower standards?
Never paid a cent of interest in my life.
Yeah each bank is different, I usually don't have a problem but had to fight for my last one with Virgin Money(Citibank), your score will usually recover after a few months, I normally wait till I'm in the "good" range before applying. YMMV
Have you got an Amex?
@nightelves: Right now, yes. Westpac Altitude Black. Will be cancelling soon as my 1st year is coming up in December, I believe.
I'm talking about an Amex card not issued by the banks.
@Zaenille: get the small shop offers in early Nov before cancelling.
@Radio8tiv: my score never has never gone up except for the one time that my 5-year-old application was dropped off the records. Not sure why…
@nightelves: I did, the Qantas Discovery one. But I cancelled it a month ago so I can start the 18 month timer on the higher tier Amex cards.
Would that affect my score or something?
@superready: Thanks for the tip!
To people looking for a QP card with a cheaper annual fee (and you're already done with ANZ and Westpac), there's also the HSBC Platinum Qantas card.
There's also the Qantas Premier card but I personally applied for it and got rejected, sadly, despite meeting the income requirements.
Thinking on getting this card for the wife (I already have a Nab Platinum) and since we're joint account holders for our Nab mortgage, she's entitled to a free card as part of the choice package as well (we used to have our own cards when we first opened the loan and didn't have to pay any annual fees). I'll then cancel my card and once we've hit the spend for the bonus points in 2 months time on her card, I'll apply for this card in my name as well. Would that work (no annual fees and 2x 90k points)? There's nothing on how long you can't have had a Nab card for to get the bonus points, just that you're not able to transfer from another card.
I've been credit card deprived as my last two applications were rejected despite having the requirement salaries and having no debt. :/
Might go for this one then.
