It's not a pricing error. Amart has been rebranded rebel. All Amart brand stock is being removed for cheap. Price in store will not match as stores are now officially rebel stores. Just called local store and asked what the go is. He sounded cognisant he knew what he was talking about.

Sting is amart brand.@CaptKirk: common sense doesn't get the best deals. You still have to pay postage of 40 to 60 on each. It's warehouse stock of an old brand. They either dump it or get rid of it for low cost.
From my experience working in retail, you cannot give things away for free legally. Something about liability. But you can sell them for 1c.

yeah ok i called up head office to confirm. They said it was a price error and they only a few of transactions went through and would be refunded. they also said that there will be a sale coming up for excess stock and the punching bags are to be marked down by 25%.

How exactly does one make a pricing error of 1c instead of the real price of $119.99. I can understand one digit transposed or missing or added but this is a completely difference number.
Many reasons:
- Could be an error in the system where the price become null / undefined. So $0.01 would probably be the default value used.
- Could be a 1c deal is applied (as part of an outdated promotion)

Javascript is the only mainstream lang with undefined and i highly doubt they are running NodeJS. Anyway no language turns nulls into 0.01, maybe zero but never a decimal.
