The price mainly. Also these are Z-wave. I believe the Xiaomi are zigbee through their gateway
People should be aware that usa and au/nz zwave products use a different freq so you can't mix and match. Also you shouldn't (?illegal) use foreign zwave freq in au/nz.
It's a shame it's not the same frequency for the whole world eg. Like zigbee 2.4ghz.
i believe these are AU freqs. bought stuff from them, connect it to my raspberry and i can confirm it is AU freqs.
yeah as you said, it will be AU freq since it's sold in AU, but if your other gear was bought from US then it won't work =)
cshome i believe sells AU freq zwave stuff. not entirely sure if they sell stuff that runs on US freq. where did u get the idea that i bought zwave stuff from the US.
