Ozbargain special

On popular demand, here is a ripper of a deal, cheapest ever price and relatively faster shipping.

Apply Coupon code: vahc0918

Shipping method: e-parcel (5-8 business days), starts shipping from tomorrow.

Note: Needs to be logged in to apply the promo coupon code.

If you are keen, there is further 5.5% cashback through CashRewards

Needless to mention that to avoid higher currency conversion rates and to get cheapest price from these Chinese websites, always choose to pay in USD, (Choose "USD" from top left hand corner) and when you progress to Paypal payment page, opt for card conversion and not paypal conversion in the final stage of payment. Underneath where it says the paypal conversion rate there will be an option "Other Conversion Options". Click on that and change it to source card Provider Conversion.

To make this change permanently on your PayPal account, follow these steps [Highly recommended]

  • Lost my code discount when logging into PayPal.
    Can I have it reinstated?

  • Just attempted, after logging in adding postal details the coupon error is: "Coupon Cannot be used on Free Gift products or his usage limit has been reached"

    :(

  • Getting same error as peggory. Any chance to get code working again?

For all those who missed out, maybe they'll be a good deal with the new eBay 18% off storewide code tomorrow night?

  • so I am guessing the express postage was total bollox.

my order on zapals says the following:

    "Shipping Method
Hongkong Post - Registered (7-30 days)"

    • Not really, Rep has clarified that although the account might say a different shipping method but all orders to Australia from this deal shall be delivered via eParcel. In saying that, if you ordered on the 19th, you should receive your order by the end of this week.

    • Shipping method is listed as Hong Kong post, but the shipping notification email says Shipped By Aus Post Eparcel (under the item with tracking number)

      • the plot thickens

        Delivered
        Delivered with Safe Drop
        9:10am Sat 30 Sep

delivered by auspost on a saturday and just left somewhere without my authority ? wtf?

        • Yes that's another issue…

Despite the instructions saying signature required and not to be left if no one present, Auspost decided it was ok to "safe drop" mine also.

They take a photo when they leave it. Sounds like you're going to have to get on to them to see where they left it.

        • @bamzero:

          and found……in my flowerbed…..wtf!

        • @The Monk:

Hope no sprinklers or rain in the last few days then

        • @bamzero:

fortunately not or the red mist would have descended when i stomped down to the local post office :D

        • delivered by auspost on a saturday and just left somewhere without my authority ? wtf?

no permission required unless the article was signature article.

    • The same thing happened to me when I ordered the dashcam a couple of months back, so I'm not surprised.

    FAQ
    Coupon doesn't work
    * Check if you are logged in
    * Check if you are applying code on the right product, linked in this deal.

It's showing me higher AUD price than mentioned in the title
    * Choose USD as your currency from top left hand corner. Don't select AUD, always choose to pay in USD, it will work out cheaper even after your credit card conversion fees. Also read the below.

How do I ensure I get the cheapest AUD price possible

I did not see any option to choose any shipping method and now it's showing me a slower shipping method on my order summary
    * Rest assured, all orders to Australia from this deal shall be sent via eParcel (5-8 business days) method, irrespective of what is shown on your order summary. It is however still recommended to set the expectations right and allow about 2 weeks from the date of order to the delivery *

    • Is this their latest version ie VIOFO A119S or its the previous version ?

    • Is there a deal for the related CPL filter?

Posting here just so I can downvote.
Dealt with zapals on a Raspberri Pi recently, probably one of the worst experiences of ordering from Asia in my life.

Nearly 2 months to my door, terrible terrible support, TERRIBLE just generic "check today" "check again!" replies, tried to do a paypal chargeback and it finally turned up about half way through that.

Worst, just … never ever again.

      • Agreed. Very very dodgy company. Id go with a merchant on allie express before i deal with them again. You've been warned.

zapals are very dodgy. They;ve shipped me incorrect items and play the here's the $1 refund card. Tokenism.

Not until you take them over to paypal disputing do they resolve with at least 50% refund.
