I paid $3.50 for a Helgas loaf of bread at Woolies, getting $5.40 cash back (Total $1.90 profit)
The voucher for the cheese in the checkout deducted $5.01 but the cheese was $5 (Total $1.91 profit)
Now to make some cheese toasties and put my profits towards the sandwich press electricity bill contribution fund ;)

They removed the ability so manually enter barcodes at the register, you have to press the button to call an attendant over and they'll go into their special menu thing for you :)
yeah, that's what I did, then attendant will ask me question and give me fishy look.

Not really, I scan 250 gram vintage and doesnt work, anyone else know what other flavor work?
I just scanned at self checkout and it took it but didn't discount (I got the vintage 250g block which is listed on the promo page).
Instead i received a receipt for a 1c donation (for coupon scanned). Which I can't even claim on tax as it is under $2 :(

Got my 250g block at Woolworths Livingston, WA.:) Found it stacked among larger 500g block. Still have 2 blocks left.
Tried to get mine this morning, followed instructions in email tried to click redeem but website wouldnt load. By the time I got it going my 30 minutes was up.
None at Ashgrove Woolworths. They didn't even have a slot for the 250gms cheese. Plenty of stock of 500gms.
I went to Rundle Mall Adelaide, first try I accidentally tapped'redeemed' before I'd scanned the barcode. So I went back in the store (cheese in hand), signed up with another email address and carefully scanned it.
Held my breath only to find that the cheese I had was vintage and so not eligible (got the 1 cent code message). Staff member told me they don't stock the Tasty.
Stupid thing is that's 2 redemption codes unused.
Just got the last one at Kenmore (Brisbane). Had to dig around at the back of the shelf. Straight forward process at the staffed till.
As a person struggling for funds recently, getting a block of free cheese would have been really helpful (as sad as it sounds). Bit disappointing when one individual clears the entire shelf for them selves. Oh well

Just went to Woolworths Beenleigh Qld and the lady in charge didnt believe me and told me it was a scam. I asked her to put the barcode in any way to see if it works, well of course it worked!She still thinks that HACKERS! must have got into Woolworths system but gave it to me for free because the barcode discounted it to zero cost and she couldnt really deny it.Thanks gnv9.

Mainland are OTT. The same cheese comes in 210g, 250g, 500g, & 750g. Maybe more. Why was I annoyed?

However, coorparoo staffer says they werent told about promotion, and thrfr checkout staff will approve a free extra tasty $5 cheese instead, which they still have stock of. Showed checkout ppl my promo email and worked for me!

Thought I'd missed out on this deal. Went to Woolies after work to buy other stuff and thought I would look for the cheese. Lo and behold there were a fair few left and it was easy to get the deal. So now I can have cheese toasties for free (Mainland cheese + Helgas bread)!

Oh! I didn't realise! I thought the email said any 250g block (although upon re-reading I can see they did say "Tasty"), so I picked out the $6 epicure, and it still came up as free when the checkout guy scanned the code. Give it a try!
Not possible, I tried, the only one that gone through is tasty, u need to check your receipt, I think you might paid full price for it.
@Jugg.Judy: Oh man! I'll check it when I get home. I saw FREE CHEESE $0.01 but maybe that was just the voucher and the cheese got charged at full price :( Will check… and hand in my ozbargainer card
Update: Judy was right, I'm an idiot. I got charged the full price :( Went back after work today was my boyfriend's code, but they only had the extra tasty. The lovely lady at the checkout scanned my voucher then gave me the cheese for free anyway but manually marking it down! So happily we did end up getting some free cheese :D

So I went to the new Woolies Metro Sydney CBD (close to Martin Place) last night around 8pm to see if they have any 250g Tasty blocks.
They had none, but they had the Extra Tasty one. Went to the self check out counter and tried scanning it, then the promo barcode - but it added $0.01.
A checkout operator, an old gentleman may I add, happily came to my assistance and I showed him the promo code. He said "Free cheese? Wow isn't that wonderful"
He then proceeded to deduct the total cost of the cheese and gave me the cheese for free :)
Now that is Customer Service! Good luck to everyone still hunting!
