Haven't played any FIFA games since the 1998 one. Might pick it up for the Switch this time then. Suck there is no Journey Mode but being able to play in handheld mode on commute is a big plus!
I gotta be real, I find it odd you haven't played it in nearly 20 years, but know the name of the story mode of the new one and that it's not in this port of it.
Wish I can get a switch version NBA2k18 for $69 later.
If you have a Costco membership, it might be worth checking them out on launch day. Costco typically has the cheapest price if you want to pick up and play on day one.

And their everyday price is $1 better than others.As a matter of fact they actually stock up most of major releases on Switch. And the price is actually like 5-12$ cheaper than the cheapest price you can find for brand new physical copies.

When you want to support this game so EA will dump more shit on the Switch,
but you also don't wanna spend 70 on a soccer game you don't really give a shit about and would maybe consider picking up when it's like 10 bucks.
But you also really want Battlefront to go portable because the PSP one is great but it's severely lacking.

If you are going to do that, you might as well give it to a friend sitting on the fence or a friend who was somewhat interested in fifa however decided not to get it for whatever reasons.

No. Different engine and(so) no Hunter mode. But it seems solid on switch. Besides, I don't get why even FIFA need frostbite engine.
