The window for these offers getting shorter and shorter.
Missed out so will boycott BP now.

    • +9

when you have people with 6/12/20 cards hoarding these offers, no wonder why they are all gone in a flash

  • none for supplementary cards? I only got it on my primary card… hrm…???

    • 2/3 of my sups got the offer…..newest card didn't.

  • +2

Can anyone provide a manual link?
My Amex issued got nothing in the app and none for the supplementary card either.

  • Which Amex card from the above list is the best? One with no annual fee and the best bonus? I no longer have an Amex and want to sign up for one.

    • +1

No awesome bonuses on no annual fee cards.
Explorer is probably one of the best. $395 annual fee is covered by $400 travel credit if you can make use of it; and 100000 point signup bonus = $741 cashback if you choose to redeem that way. Its little brother Essentials card by contrast has no annual fee and a $50 signup bonus (but if you're not going to use the travel credit, might be an option to switch to in year 2)

  • I have an AMEX issued platinum card but never see these BP offers in my AMEX offers.

    • This Platinum or this Platinum Edge?

      • +1

Came up on both of the above for me.
(June-July offer only hit my Platinum, not Edge)

      • -1

Got two edge both in there :-)

  • wow,expired already,

must be a record for the bp offer

  • +2

It is a shame that AMEX does not notify us by email when new offers arrive. Luckily we have very alert OZBargainers.

  • Does anybody know where BP stocks their gift cards? Behind the counter? I couldn't find them displayed

    • Yea usually around the counter area.

      • been to 3. 2 X behind the counter, 1 had a self serve rack in public area.

        • Thanks, went to 1 in SA and they don't sell any gift cards. Will try others, Thanks!

        • @gym: You will struggle in SA. Suggest a different strategy. I went with fuel plus dog food that was cheaper than supermarket prices at the time.

  • hmm did opal top up on a few cards a few hours ago and no confirmation emails yet. it's usually pretty immediate. bbboooooo

    • I just bought $46 of fuel from BP; didn't get an e-mail but did get a notification in my AMEX app saying "Thanks for using your enrolled card ending xxxxx with BP. Discover more amazing Amex Offers"

  • +1

    Got my $10 credit

  • I never got a confirmation email when I spend $40 at my usual BP, but can confirm the credit did hit my account once the transaction settled.

    • same here.
although I was on the phone to them about something else and they said they couldn't even see the offer attached to my card.
they wanted me to send them a screenshot.

    • Amex is very inconsistent with email confirmations when using Amex offers. I never panic as it usually shows up about 3 days later as redeemed under my offers.

  • Is there a link for eligible bank issued amex cards?

    • Even if there was, enrolments are capped so you won't be able to enrol …

      • I know.. just asking in view of the next offer

        • Bank issued cards weren't eligible.

  • Just did 2 cards, no emails.

if you're getting your fuel at bp you're getting ripped off anyway as they are always more expensive than say 7-11. on a full tank you're prob getting ripped off to the tune of $10 anyway.

    • I think it's been variously shown that it's only true for some, but not universally true of all BPs. And you're going to compare BP to 7-Eleven? Really?

      • -3

It's fuel and yes can be up to 10 cents difference between a BP and 7-11. Do you not understand?

        • Your missing the point that your saving in excess of 25c per litre off the BP price with this deal. So only worthwhile if 7-11 is 25c less per litre. Simple maths this deal.

        • -3

@Coops1: 25 cents a litre? Not sure where you learnt your maths.

        • +3

          @Dont Care:

So care to provide your own numbers on what the savings are?
          I did say in excess of 25c, it's 35cents a litre if your paying $1.40 a litre.

IMO - Your comments have been totally pointless so far.
For info (but of no relevance) - My local BP is no different in price to others like Coles Express and others

        • -3

@Coops1: I told you save money and dont go to BP. Then I questioned your ridiculous 25 cents a litre.

        • @Dont Care:
          Thanks for the advice.
