One does not need a $600 toothbrush albeit discounted to $383

    • That price is for 2 toothbrushes.

    • It's $283 after cashback for 2 electric toothbrushes, $141.50 each.

    • +3

As long as it has some sweet bluetooth connectivity ftw!

    • Are you sure? People who buy these seem to maintain there is an amazing difference between wiggling a brush this way or waggling it that way. Nothing to do with feeling like an idiot of course!

      • I can assure you I felt the same way prior to the tooth brush. I got the 1st one for $130.lasted 7 years, now the battery is going. 2nd I bought at Christmas.
Just have to make sure buy the heads on sale

    • Still cheaper than a visit to the dentist.

  • Not sure the Toothbrush deal is what I would of lead with .

    • I did have the Airfyer initially but changed my mind just before submitting, what would you go for? I thought those 2 were the picks with the cashback on top but wasn't sure if the Airfryer would have as much interest.

Unfortunately can only fit 2 things in the title due to the cashback inclusions.

      • Airfryer .
How many people buy $300 toothbrushes ?

        • The $283 is for 2 electric toothbrushes - so $141.50 each just to clarify. But yeah fair enough, Airfryer might have been the way to go :) Not many past deals so wasn't sure at the time, the toothbrushes are pretty popular though.

          Thanks

        • +2

          These toothbrushes are absolutely amazing!

        • If they prevent just one filling, then they pay for themselves. But if they don't prevent even one extra filling…

  • Not a bad price for the brushes for local stock

  • Note the double pack doesn't include the travel recharge cases. Have to buy the brushes individually to get them. Worth about $70 each

  • I bought one half year ago from amazon and it's still cheaper.

    lol

  • Hi everyone,

    Just a quick question,

If buy from Myer Ebay, can we include the Myer One and Myer Giftcard to purchase?

    Thanks

    • +1

      From their FAQ
      http://stores.ebay.com.au/myer-store-official/faqs
Q: Do I receive MYER one shopping credits for eBay Myer purchases?
A: No, MYER one members are not eligible to receive MYER one shopping credits on the eBay Myer store.

Q: Can I use Myer gift card?
A: Presently, we do not accept Myer Gift Cards as a form of tender on the eBay Myer store.

      • Thanks for the information.

        Cheers !!!

Highly recommend the Milk Frother. Used it every day with my coffees (before getting a proper espresso machine) for about 3 years. It's still perfect for hot chocolates.

    • Is it better than the ones that come with nespresso machines?

      • +1

It's way better than the nespresso ones. There's a lot more flexibility in how you want the milk frothed: Variable temperature control. Separate frothing discs for cappuccino or flat white/latte styles. Cold-stir option for iced drinks.

Much easier to clean as you just remove the jug and wash it in the sink or chuck in the dishwasher.

I did a fair bit of research before I bought it and the consensus seems to be this is the best milk frother on the market (although apparently they have a tendency to stop working after a year or two - I bought TGG Concierge cover due to this but haven't had to use it so far, one year in). I'm very happy with it and recommend. The only negative I can think of is it is a bit noisy, definitely way noisier than those nespresso frothers.

      • +1

Lord yes. Actually that's what started me on milk frothers - I had one of those Aeroccino 3's where milk would (after 6-12 months) end up burning the teflon at the bottom making it worthless.

I thought that tasted good. Then I saw the Breville one and thought stainless steel would last longer and be easier to clean.

Surprise: that may have been true but the milk quality is a world apart. I don't know why because fundamentally they are very similar mechanisms but this one whips up a storm, and can go pretty hot (so you get a nice hot chocolate and - when I worked up some confidence - slightly melted marshmallow mix).

You know how you buy some things and some are a bit shit, some are okay, and some are "good buys" because they just keep giving and giving? This one is a good buy in our household. (Other good buys included a Miele C3 and noise cancelling headphones).

grabbed an airfryer. my mum bought one a few weeks ago and has been raving about it so i've stupidly been watching youtube reviews and recipes on an empty stomach. bad move. i give it 2 months before it joins the neverending pile of useless kitchen gadgets. lucky i bought a house with a pretty big walk-in pantry :-)

    • What's the appeal? I mean isn't it just like bunging something in the oven?

      • This is the exact question I asked my mum and she assured me that this thing is quicker, tidier & turns out nicer every time. I'm not 100% convinced but worst case scenario is that someone gets a nice, barely used Xmas pressy from me in a few months.

      • +1

It does things a little quicker and a bit nicer than the oven. Things like home made chips go down a treat in the air-fryer. Chicken pieces (or a small chicken if you have the largest airfryer) is pretty tasty. I would say get the largest capacity they make if you are cooking for 2 or 2+ people. Otherwise you'll double your cooking time.

Or it is also handy to cook something in this at the same time if the oven is full!

  • Heads are so cheap

  • Why can't add to cart for Phillips sonicarwe?

    • Sold out sorry.

      • Thought Myer would have heaps of stock they normallyt stock slot for a retail shop, more should come in soon I hope.

  • The Diamondclean twin pack looks like there is more stock?

  • Airfryer is now out of stock, but you can get the bigger model here:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Philips-HD9240-90-XL-Digital-…

    • I was going to get it but looks like the $50 cashback is only on the smaller one.

  • Darn! Airfryer sold out. I should have just got it via the app on my phone. I was trying to login via Qantas mall on work computer to get the points.

  • Think the toothbrush might be on back order.

  • how does the phillips compare to the rank arena branded air fryer from this deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/198295

  • Just got an email saying my air fryer purchase has been refunded… Guessing they ran out of stock earlier than expected. I bought at 6:46pm last night (8th).

    Anyone else got this?

    • received an order-sent email tonight night (9/9). i ordered the air fryer at around 10:30pm friday (8/9).

      • Well I guess I got screwed over then :/

    • Mine was cancelled and refunded too. Ordered at 7:38pm Friday.

Had the Breville Fast Slow Pro in my cart, almost checking out & then realised I was being irresponsible with my money again when I'm trying to reel in my spending.. so ended up buying Breville MultiChef for $88.96 instead (20% off $111.20, down from $139), as my partner only really uses slow cooker & doesn't like pressure cooking. Not sure if I made the right decision but would feel too guilty spending $222 for something we don't need (just upgrading slow cooker) :X

  • Just received an email saying my cashback is approved. Awesome.
