Why not just heat up your bbq and clean with beer ect?
And for non hot is it any better then easy off bam, cos that stuffs pretty good too.
Just curious.
Sometimes you need something that is actually designed to break down fats and crusted on residue.
Fair enough, I usually use a George foreman electric bbq tbh so I was just curious.
Do you knock out the fat?
Grime
is this stuff really good?
found a BBQ on the side of the road from hard rubbish and it was spotless, wondering if this is possibly what they used to clean their BBQ?
Regards spotlesz clean bbq. For clarity , If you’ve got years of build up of grease & grime, you’ll probably need the more labour-intensive approach of waiting until the bbq & grates cools completely, then spraying it with oven cleaner ( Bam or Selleys ) and shoving the grates in a garbage bag to sit overnight.
The next day, use the steel-bristled brush and garden hose and give the grate a good scrub. The gunk should come right off. (Do note: if you have a cast iron grill grate, you’ll want to season it with oil after cleaning.)
If it's still greasey interior of bbq then use the grease & grime spray.
Hope this brings clarity…
thanks, i will save this as a bookmark for future reference.
I'm going to print it out.
Use cloudy ammonia instead. Heaps cheaper and cuts through grease like nothing else.
I've used spray!
