Someone is inevitably going to ask if your keys are legit.

Want to pre-empt them with an answer?

    • -5

You will get valid keys. You also can contact customer service at [email protected] if you have any problem.

      • +21

"Valid" as in they work - yes.

But at these prices would be against the ToS for use of those keys and people risk having them revoked.

        • +2

Lol not sure who down voted you, probably OP. Here, fixed it.

        • What's the sentence for breaking this ToS?

        • +1

          @lostn:

It's a civil offence so would result in a fine (in an alternate reality where that would actually happen).

        • -1

@dazweeja: Who would fine you, Microsoft or the government?

        • +1

          @lostn:

Microsoft would have to take you to court, like any other civil matter. Or they could take a group of individuals to court at once for the same infringement, as happens in copyright cases. If you lost, you would have to pay Microsoft damages ("fine" was probably not the best term to use). Realistically, they usually only take resellers and businesses to court although the line is a bit blurry:

          @dazweeja:

          civil offence

Interesting. Could you please provide a link to which act and section that covers this civil offence?

        • +2

          @whooah1979:

Software is considered a literary work under the Copyright Act 1968 and has all the same protections (with the exception of those specified in Division 4A). A software license is a legal document describing the conditions under which a licensee can use that copyrighted work. If you don't have a valid license, you can't use the work. It's exactly the same with images, sound recordings, etc. I'm not seeing where the confusion is?

        • @dazweeja:

I'm not seeing where the confusion is?

Not confused, just interesting. It's the first time I've hear someone use the term civil offence on a forum in Australia.

        • @dazweeja: Are they allowed to put anything they want into the EULA, such as your soul belongs to them?

      • -1

        You will get valid keys.

Are these legitimate keys or do they violate Microsoft's terms ?

        • -2

Are these legitimate keys or do they violate Microsoft's terms ?

          They should be legitimate keys.

        • @whooah1979:

So you've confirmed they're retail keys and not OEM or MSDN?

        • @D3m3ntia:

So you've confirmed they're retail keys and not OEM or MSDN?

Which one of those are illegitimate?

        • @whooah1979: Both. These questions are starting to seem as genuine as these keys.

  • +2

    MSDN keys..

  • +2

    You're selling msdn keys? Pfft

  • +1

Can I upgrade home to pro with above key?

    • +1

Notice: CAN'T upgrade from Home system to Pro system, You should download the windows 10 pro system from Microsoft Official Site first. After you installed it, then to activate the code.

    • Windows 7 pro keys can be bought on eBay for $3 and used to upgrade windows 10 home to pro

      • +1

can you please elaborate thank you

  • +8

Can find any one of those 3 for cheaper on ebay, with same legitimacy

    • +1

I remember the days when msdn/TechNet keys were $5. Call it inflation.

      • +3

I remember when they were free if you were part of TechNet.

  • What is the expiry date? Is that when the Office Licence expires? Or is it an outright purchase of the product?

  • +9

Don't bother, I bought Win10 off these guys a few weeks ago and it wouldn't work, they wanted me to ring Microsoft customer service to activate. Bullsh*t if you ask me.

    • +3

they wanted me to ring Microsoft customer service to activate.

Lol… You should've called and told them who you bought them off…

      • Ha Ha I would if they gave me a replacement key as a finders/NARC fee.

Would like to hear from store rep about this, can I tag them?

        • +1

          can I tag them?

Why not forward a link to this thread to Microsoft?

  • +1

So this is a lil' bit OT but seeing as it's sort of based around Windows and my question I thought I might just ask anyway.

So, with the new Windows 10 is that likely to be something that future computers will be able to run in years to come; for example, my mid 2010 Mac is only starting to see some lag now but newer Mac prices are so high, I'm kind of hopeful that maybe newer iterations of Windows will be a bit less taxing and maybe last as long?

Or am I off my tree again?

    • Forum? Whirlpool? Microsoft store.

      • Sorry, I'm not quite following you. What do you mean?

        • I think he means you should have asked/checked in the forums, on the whirlpool forums or contact the Microsoft store/have a look there.

        • @Hirolol:

Ah. Fair enough, it was OT.

          @Jawanzar:
i dont know for sure but i would assume its the same thing with smartphone updates.
When you update an older model phone with a newer model phones OS patch they tend to feel slugish.
after a few more years and a few more updates the phone becomes so slow.

        • @Hirolol: Yeah for sure, this definitely happened with my iPhone 4 but it was moreso in the space of around 3 years that it started to really show signs of slowing down. Whereas my mid 2010 MacBook is only now starting to really become sluggish. I'm not knocking Windows, I think the new iterations and releases seem really great, I'm just curious if they'll last. My impression is that perhaps phone OS may be a bit different? IDK, hard to say I guess. Hey, thanks for indulging my question anyway Hirolol. :)

  • Do you have mac edition, every time i visit your website i kept hoping for a mac version. Basically insanity since I keep going to your website looking for a different result

    • pm me i should have a spare office 365 mac key

      • Sorry guys gone

I remember when you could get Windows 10 free if you used "assistive technologies". https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows10upgra…

    • +1

      has that finished now?

      • +1

        Nope ;)

  • +1

cheaper elsewhere and if you are going to pay this much for it you might as well pirate it

Anything that deprives Bill Gates from a few hundred bucks gets my vote

    • +8

      Why?

He's probably donated more money to charities than any other person in history…

    • +3

The guy is using his money to educate, vaccinate and develop sustainability strategies for 3rd world communities to help them future proof their crops and lifestyle. There is a reason you don't see bad press about Bill, he's a decent guy, with a good idea that made a lot of money off it, not a scamming middle man who is hiring small children for pennies to service western throwaway culture. Given that, I'm a tightwad, so I tend to give him less money, because I want to do more things with mine.

    • Someone calculated the maths. If he saw $100 on the floor, it would not be worth his time to pick it up.

They calculated there will need to be $25,000 on the ground for it to be worth it for him to pick it up.

  • Is the Windows 10 Pro licence usable on a MacBook - looking to dual boot. Thanks

  • And here we have MSY charging $130 for Windows 10 - thieves!

    • Except, the MSY one is legit.

      The irony.

  • I paid for a Pro license earlier this year which I've never tried to use until today, and got instant rejection. Sent an email to their address and contacted the rep. I'll let you know if I get anywhere.

Has anyone actually had one of these guys keys work for more then 6 months?
