  Purchased the 42L version of the MS2596OS about 2 months ago after researching alternatives to an awful Westinghouse microwave of ours broke down. The microwave is hands down the best microwave we've owned. Powerful, very quiet operation, intuitive time and power controls, the cooldown fan rarely comes on and has the most charming notification chime when the heating is complete. Fantastic microwave.

    MS2596OS is 25L and 1000W. All 42L are very different and 1200W.

      I have one of the 42L and I need to replace another microwave as I was stupid enough to run one without food in it and bork the magnetron.

      Why don't microwaves come with digital number pads anymore? Only the cheapies and a handful of name brands (like Sharp), but all the models have awful reviews. Is it too much to ask that I bloody well punch in the time I want without having to play a video game to get it to the correct duration to cook a damned meal? Who the hell designs this crap? Also I don't need a pretty little tune played when my food is ready. Drives me bonkers. I'm not freakin' 5 years old.
