Are you referring to using the Myer GCs you buy at Myer, or potentially using Woolies GCs to buy these Myer GCs?

There's no change to the rule but if you come across any of the newer self check out software, it will now ask for approval from an attendant, they'll simply just okay it and you can pay with the woolworths gift card as normal

I wish I have asked the counter in Myer last week when I bought my Myer Coles GC using Amex.@castaway: Yes the system at Coles allows you to pay for GC with GC but the staff don't allow you.
From my experience at Myer, it is not only the staff who will not let you, but the system does not allow a Myer GC to purchase another GC.

Im not sure how many gift cards we can use in one transaction in store. For the online order, we can only use max 5 gift cards for the order.
I'd bought an iPhone in-store with multiple Myer gift cards before, but I can't recall how many cards did I used, but definitely more than 5.
Remember to haggle for a better price, and use Myer One card to earn rewards points.
Can this somehow work with the cashrewards discount?
