  • Excellent ear phones! Have been using mine for a few months now at the gym, very comfy and the sound is very good, haven't had any issues with connections too.
Would recommend to anyone looking for bluetooth earphones.

  • Eglobal or dwi better?
I've purchased from dwi a couple of years ago but not eglobal

They are owned by the same company, so really no difference. Just a question of which colour you want and if you want the sport belt and armband for a few dollars extra.

      • Thanks
Am trying out the beatsx as I write this, but thinking of getting the x3s instead.

  • YMMV. I tried these but just could not get a combination of comfort and decent seal. Without the seal the sound is terrible, properly fitted sound is decent. Ended up going for Backbeat fit instead which puts zero pressure on the ear canal (But also does not isolate). Remember returning these will be difficult because of hygiene restrictions on returns.

    • Are you using the foam comply tips that came with it?

I use mine with the wings to secure the tips in my ear.

Although you are correct about it not being very comfortable after a while.

      • I tried every possible combination lol. It basically came down to discomfort and good sound or comfort and really really terrible sound. Which is why in the end bluetooth headphones that didn't rely on the seal was a much better option for me. I could have weird ears though :p.

My BB Fits I can wear for hours no problem. But because they hook over the ear there are probably people super sensitive in that area who might not like that method. Also if you have long hair the BB Fit would be an annoyance to put on and off.

Be wary that these jaybirds require you to use this stupid proprietary dongle that you have to bring with you everywhere in order to charge it. If you lose it your are stuffed…

    • yep, pretty bad but it was to save space in order to fit the 8 hour battery. Still a shame though

Jbl reflect minis have an 8 hour battery and use micro sd to charge up

        • How do you charge with micro sd did you mean micro usb?

  • I have the Jaybird x2, love it except the earbuds are a bit big that it stick out of my ears.. haha
Guess the X3 is much better in both size and sounds???

In audio quality it's only slightly better, nothing to upgrade for. It does stick out less but again not too much of a big difference. The freedoms don't stick out as much since it's half the battery life and i could lie down side on comfortably with them on. It's a shame they moved to the charging clip to save space though, if you lose the clip you're done

  • Worth it to get it local from JB for $179 with 3 years warranty? or should I buy grey import?
Personally I don't mind grey import items, but how's the durability on this earbud? Is the extra warranty worth it?

I guess it comes down to how often will you use it. For example, I don't use it every day and thus I would not be charging it more than 5 times per month (given that I could easily get 6+ hours out of mine per full charge). However, if you are someone who is a heavy user and needed to recharge it everyday, then I would recommend you to get the 3 years warranty as these Jaybird earphones are built with battery and can't be replaced. Therefore, who can guarantee that your Jaybirds is still able to hold any charge on the third year?

  • Any good home network features like linking with your WiFi to extend listening range or send and receive music player functions over the home "internet".

Looking for something with long range and ease of use for an android tablet with large battery life.
