Or the $1 HDMI cables to Mangoes :)
I put this deal up on my phone lol
Kensington pride, perhaps?
perfect timing for me! i just modified my order i placed earlier today and added 12 mangoes at $0.70 each! Max I could order was 12. Thanks op.
$1 each for WA :(
And you don't get GST.
no, I don't get it, literal or mental sense :(
$1 each for WA :(
Still cheap, one of the stores (Limes in Myaree) were asking $6.99 for one….
is this available in store as well?
No, you can do C&C though.
Oh i like this C&C business
If you do C&C do you still have to spend $50?
Yes, minimum fifty dollars.
Looks like selling cheap mangoes is a new way to attract buyers in spending $50 at coles. Better marketing than flybuys points considering they can't keep mangoes long before getting rotten.
I ordered a few of those during last deal, all of them arrived in very soft and flabby condition.
That's sad. I was hoping to buy in bulk and dry them.
Any other mango feedback from the last deal?
Some were definitely soft, but they were very nice (so I'm told, I don't eat mangoes).
mine were all ripe, but not overly ripe.
Got them home put them straight in the fridge - they're good for eating straight away (or soon)
Ours arrived ripe ripe, all had to be eaten within around 2 days, no complaints as the price was right
I got my 12, they were the same as the $4.90 in store, large and barely ripe
Picked up a dozen last Sunday. All perfect with varying ripeness. 2 for tomorrow and last 2 ready for Saturday.Very sweet.
That's why we don't get any more mangoes at Coles bin. sold to you guys.
That's because you get sent the ones the in store customers reject.
That'll be 36 mangoes for me in a week!
Sadly I don't have any C&C stores near me and I just ordered 12 with $150 worth of stuff from the last deal to get free shipping.
Oh well, I still have 10 mangoes left.
78c in vic
Mangoes can make a man go
Can make a man go what?
Ohhhhhh
Mangoes can also make a woman expect or at least that's what my mum told me!
Can someone explain why there is a min $50 order, when i want to click and collect. rather strange….
Only guessing, but it's probably not worth it for them to get someone to pack small orders.
Don't waste your time guys as i did for last deal. Store: Parabanks Salisbury, SA. C&C staff advised since this is not the mango season, mangoes are unavailable and will substitute your order with closet item. ended up with partial refund after 2 visits and 4 phone calls to Coles..
Why didn't you get all your money back?
What is the closest item to a mango???
He said closet item. So I'm thinking brooms and mops.
You only need closet items if you are interested in consuming 12 mangoes at once lol
I cannot see any Cc option at checkout. What I am doing wrong?
probably none near you. not all stores C&C
Just tried ordering in WA…
Frozen mangoes from last season?
is it Online Only deal?
yea, and only if ur store has it, many cancellations, so no gaurantee
Yes, 70¢ is online price.
However, concento reported he price matches the online price successfully
Some stores might let you Price Match if you show them the web price
…
Well I guess I was lucky. Bought 16 last night in a store at $80c each
Got cancelled last time. Apparently ran out of Mangoes…
I don't see how these could possibly be as good as the soon-to-be-ripe Mackinaw peaches, save your money for those two weeks folks!
Thanks guys bought 6 for $4.20 price matching in store. Left a whole stack in case anyone else comes in
how do u price match at coles?
Just went to the counter and asked
they said no @braybrook coles. :(
How does CC work?
Do they check ID when you pick up?
Can you use different names?
Not a big fans of Kensington mango.
I found it's sweet, but lack of mango favor.
Kensington Pride is also known as Bowen Specials - an old variety developed in Australia. This is the variety sold here for decades.
"It is Australia's most popular mango, accounting for over 80% of the country's annual commercial mango market." - Wikipedia
I grew up eating these mangoes off our suburban Brisbane mango tree. Summer smelt of mangoes. So to me the new cultivars or overseas varieties have a lack of mango f(l)avor.
Theses NT grown mangoes taste great to me. Eating my way through the last dozen.
It depends what you are used to.
maximum 12
i'm getting $15 off once my cart hits $100.. anyone else?
Maybe targeted offer? I got $20 of $200 this week :(
Yep I see the offer as well but no plans to spend that much
72 Mangoes for $50.40! Death by Mango/Diabetic coma! And if you survive, you want to be near a toilet.
Limit of 12?
Not in Perth. But the price is $1.
Family of 6 :P
yea but, you can only put through an order with a min $50 basket. So you spent 6 x $50 = $300?
Coz you can put through 12 mangos for $8.40. But the rest of the cart must be something else…
Good point. $50 of mangoes and $250 of toilet paper, delivered to 6 addresses please. :P
I'm in Perth, price shows up as 0.70 before login, after login the price is $1.
Still cheap as chips (or KP Mangoes)…
Great deal. I received my 12 mangos on last deal yesterday by delivery. All mine were still green. I'm in sydney.
Logged in to my Coles account.
It allows to add only 1 mango for $0.70. As soon as you add 2 the price changes to $6. This is in Sydney. And 12 mangoes cost $36!!!
Same issue here in Brisbane.
Looks like the deal has ended. Similar thing happened for last one. As soon as midnight ticked over the price changed.
The deal has now ended. It says: Temporarily unavailable
Doh got an email this morn saying my order was cancelled
They could only deliver 29 mangoes out of 30 ordered….
Guess it will do ;—)
Still available for 70c but seems you can only order 1 at a time as its 1 for 70c, 2 for $6, 3 for $9 etc
Got 12 mangos picked up, 8 out of 12 were bruised so was best I eat them today, problem is they are also green which meant soft green sour mangos, bit not nice. Given I had to buy other stuff that I didn't really want (for coles online pricing) I'd say this wasn't worthwhile overall.
You still can return the stuff after buying if you didn't really want.
Very happy with the deal. Ripe mangoes. 10 out of 10.
Just got some delivered. Great condition. But they are extra ripe and ready to eat!
So dodgy with this mango deal, the rest of the order deliveries but says mango was out of stock. This is plenty in store…
Surprisingly got mine. Just picked up from click & collect and found 14! (I ordered 12, as that's the limit). Good quality too, very happy
What Coles Express staff really think of customers…
Something went wrong with my click & collect order yesterday.
First no PIN for locker to pick up at 3pm. Rang - truck late, PIN sent 3:35.
Collected order, 12 good sized mangos, but all frozen food was missing.
Rang again. Organised refund.
But was told I was wrong to complain of late delivery (to pick up locker) as would be delivered any time in window (3-11:59pm)! I told her that was wrong according to Coles website. You can't expect people to go back to locker around midnight because Coles is late.
At end of phone call, she called me an "arsehole" - probably assuming I had hung up. But mobile records calls & it recorded her message.
Complained straight away - supervisor to listen to their recording of call (records 5 minutes before & after call). Today - got call that case has been escalated. The new staff member is off to Coles reeducation camp.
Got a lot of Coles Apologies, but not as good as the mangoes.
not as good as the mangoes.
You must be lucky as the mangoes I got weren't all that great, seems like they were in storage for too long and just never ripened fully.
A few were nice, but most were average which is disappointing as I've tasted nice Kensington Pride and I know how flavoursome they can be.
Well I was comparing the mangoes with apologies for being called an "arsehole"😋
Early in season & long transportation meaning picked before ripened - not good for bringing out the best flavour. Smell is a good indicator of the quality of the fruit. 1 good mango in my kitchen should keep the house smelling great. The 18 left aren't making much impact.
Mangoes are blossoming early around Brisbane with the warmth (around 30C) & humidity is low - usually good for setting fruit.
But it's been a while without mangoes, so I am enjoying most of the first order. Some smaller ones have been a bit bland. Second order is greener, so that's next week eating sorted.
picked before ripened
I used to pick my homegrown mangoes while still green because of fungus and left them in my kitchen to ripen, they tasted superb.
Smell is a good indicator of the quality of the fruit.
Yeah, these Coles ones hardly smell, even the almost fully ripened ones.
My homegrown used to fill the house with sweet mango aroma.
Freaking growers/supermarkets have to screw up every fruit, first strawberries, then tomatoes and now mangoes.
@Scab:
Mangoes have different qualities with different ripeness. But storing at low temperatures for prolonged time may reduce flavour & smell. Best served at room temperature.
Received $25 for being called an "arsehole".
Now if I could only be paid that much every time I've been insulted, I would be very rich💰
Received $25 for being called an "arsehole".
You should go into prostitution, I pay women far more than that to call me names and humiliate me.
Kingston has really diversified their product range… going from SD cards to mangoes
