Best prices to London I could find at the moment for my dates in October/November by a good margin, with a well-reviewed airline, flying on 787s.
STA Travel seem to have it almost $100 cheaper than everywhere else (just under $1,000 or a bit over if using a credit card to pay). With a quick search, seems to be available from 3 Oct even into December.

It's good airline with modern aircraft (787) but you get fed peanuts. Bring your own food to feel full.
Decent airline and decent food - I have used them three times for travel to UK. One thing to consider though (and check for yourself) - last year I booked through STA and found that the choice of seats was severely limited (I checked with RB and they said it was due to STA receiving a special deal that limits their choice of seats). But if it saves $100…
