Hey, I literally just started looking at go pros today after confirming travel plans, can you give me the main differences between the Hero 5 and the Hero 5 sessions?
the first one mentioned hero 5 is without 'session' in the model name, no need to thank me.
During TGGs 15% off deal, the HERO5 Black was $499.
The day after the offer finishes, bam $468The value in these % off certain stores offers on FleBay is diminishing.
Man, $468 is a bargain for a hero5 from a chain department store. I'm a little annoyed because I got it for $475 from JB HiFi two days ago. But that was walking out the shop with it, rather than online having to pay postage etc.
You can get it closer to $400 on EBay if you are patient/look hard enough but it will likely not be Aus stock.

This camera has been as low as $349 only a few weeks ago, aus stock.
During the lst eBay 20% off deal and during the current one, you could have secured aus stock around $42x.xx delivered.

Actually tried to order one but you can only use the voucher when paying through paypal (not CC, bank transfer etc), I tried to pay with paypal and it just didn't work. Kept getting an error, apparently it's a common error that paypal has been giving for a year or so now (Have to contact paypal customer service and you get thrown different excuses). Asked seller if I could somehow not pay through PayPal, wasn't possible. So ended up just going to JB to save a headache.
The $349 one I missed out on, was only active for a few hours IIRC since people were buying more than one to sell on etc, I was spewin.
To be honest if anyone out there is looking for a 4K action camera, go the Sony FDR3000. Easy #1 in terms of video quality. Only reason I went with GP5 is for the waterproof without a housing aspect.
