they will tell you about how much better quality these are, but id rather have 5 nato strips at $3 each rather than one…………….

I think they will be stitch for stitch identical, as every single colour listed on his website can be found Ali. I'm sure they have come from Aliexpress/Alibaba in the first place.

I think $10 shipped for local stock would be fair. $15 + shipping is stretching the friendship.

    • Aliexpress nato straps are beyond sh*t. You never know what you are going to get: advertised dimensions are often vague compared to what you receive, edges are crudely cut, lengths very short, holes not sealed properly, crooked stitching, cheap hardware and only stainless or black PVD, frayed ends and thin nylon. Spend more and you will get a quality strap that is higher-quality, matches advertised specs, looks more premium and lasts a lot longer. My go to nato company is https://natostrapco.com/ An excellent quality 22mm brushed hardware strap goes for around ~$17.40. I always get two-for-one during sales e.g. Black Friday.

$16 from these guys seems expensive and $25 is robbery!

If anyone is actually looking for extremely high quality nato straps.

Phenomenato actually sells nato straps are about $50 a pop, but almost rival the Omega OEM ones which cost $250.

For those people who actually want a quality strap to go with their higher-end timepiece, looks awkward when you have a $3 strap on a speedmaster etc.

    • Plus postage I believe. I just wonder about the longevity of the SB straps since they're not cheap. I guess it would go OK in my rotation.

This is a good read if you want a seat belt nato. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f222/seatbelt-nato-strap-roundu…
I have a WatchGecko (Geckota) and it is too flimsy. Toxic Natos are good too.

      • Yep that is the same thread I used to buy several nato straps.

The Phenomenato straps are closer in quality and style to the Omega OEM ones, whereby they're more tightly woven together and feel more silky.

Plus the strap holder are rectangular like the Omega ones.

However they are thinner than the Omega ones and the buckle doesn't align directly on the bottom of your wrist.

    • Any suggestions on leather straps?

Looking for two straps, one for a Panerai and one for a Jaeger lecoultre

      • Sorry not too sure on Leather straps.

I've bought HIRSCH ones in the past however they actually don't last that long.

EverestStraps I can recommend for both rubber and leather straps though I think they're for Rolex only.

        • Cheers, HIRSCH are expensive and don't last long?

I'm thinking I'm better off just buying the OEM from the watch manufacturer. Love my Panerai strap just want some different colour straps for different occassions.

        • The last 2 HIRSCH straps I bought weren't their cheapest offerings, they were > $100 imported from UK.

They lasted about a year each, with the rubber on the edges peeling off after a few months and the underside leather cracking and being worn out far too quickly.

After having purchased the Omega OEM nato strap and 3-4 nato straps - I would still go with OEM Omega personally if I were to have just 1; So I'd go with an OEM Panerai for yourself if you just want another one to rotate (Though the Panerai leather one probably costs far more than the Omega Nato).

However if you plan on having a few, I'd definitely go for PhenomeNato.
