Google Home doesn't seem to work with the Mi box for on screen display.
The box also has no auto switching refresh rate, no support for playback 4K H.264/AVC @60fps.this guy +1
You could drive it via DLNA which is a real standard compatible with everything. But really you would just end up running Kodi(which can also act as a DLNA renderer). Much more flexible, but as per the other comment, you need to check what formats you need and if the box can do it. 4K @60hz won't be that important for many years as there is bugger all media in that format that you can readly get at. Might be worth checking out a few different android boxes.
Did they ever fix the blue tint issues reported on these?
Haven't noticed any blue tint issues with mine. Though, the one thing that irks me with the Ultra is that you can't power it via USB. With the original and Chromecast 2 I could just power it off the USB port on the TV.
Hmm could get a Xiaomi mi box for the same price and have a built in chrome cast with controller without needing a phone. Or am I missing something
