Khriso is right, there's no official OCE servers but when I first joined my friends told me to join Elemental, Tonberry. From my experience so far (3 months) there have been quite a few Australians that I've come across and during my prime time 8pm-12 (GMT+10) queue times are around 5-10 minutes as a dps for current content (L70 dungeons, trials and raids). Tonberry is classed as a congested server so you might not be able to join (another friend tried for a week with no luck). With regards to lag, it's generally okay although occasionally I'll die to aoe fields that I wasn't standing in but that may be because I have bad internet.

    • +1

It probably has the worst netcode of all AAA MMOs. Getting out of telegraphed circles and still being hit is a huge pain in the endgame of ff14 for aust players. This is especially because it's like a huge part of the game in the harder difficulties. No other AAA MMO has the issue anywhere near as bad. Including other ones without aust servers like guild wars 2.

Doesn't mean it's unplayable though. It won't really matter till late endgame.

      • Does this have PvP or just PvE I.e only raid bosses.

        • It has both but not pvp in leveling zones. Ive heard the pvp isn't very popular.

  • Got mine! Now dinner is all sorted for dinner!

    • +4

As long as it's not all sorted for breakfast.

  • Anyone pay with PayPal and not receive a code yet? Ordered a couple of hours ago.

    • No, I got mine in my email after PayPal went through. It does say something about 24hr wait period.

    • -2

I got mine pretty much straight away … also ordered for during the Mcgregor / Mayweather fight. Lunch sorted for the boyyyyys!

      • Yeah I ordered for Friday night. Some friends did the same and got their codes :(

        • No code yet either here. Hope didn't sell out :@

      • Where or how are you watching the fight?

  • +1

I despise Dominos but that deal is amazing, I own it all on PC but this is a good opportunity to own it on PS4 too. For those who enjoy MMO's but haven't tried FFXIV, I highly recommend.

    • Is the account on pc the same as the account on ps4 or are they separate.

      • Yep so if you own it on both you use the same account to log in and have access to the same characters. But you'll need to purchase it for both platforms if you wish to do so unfortunately.

        • Ok cool. Sounds kind of cash grabby but I guess it makes sense because two platforms. Thank god though that they transfer over character data and such.

        • Do you only need to pay the one sub?

  • +2

As a FFXVI free-trial player, this promotion is quite tempting although i don't know how to persuade my gf how suddenlt i have interest in pizza :D

    • +1

Why do you need to ask your gf if you want pizza? Just order it dude

  • I had to read the heading a few times. This is an odd combo indeed. But it's mighty enticing!

  • Lets guess whats the next free game with dominoes pizza. My choice is battlefield 1.

  • DOes anyone know if you get 3 codes? or one code. I already have ARR I dont wanna buy it if the code wont work.

    • Otherwise, Is anyone on the Ridill Server?

    • +1

It's one code for the whole collection.

  • Do I want the PS4 or PC version…?

    • +3

You could get both, and 6 pizzas. Just saying

    • +1

being an MMO, PC is a lot easier to use skills and communicate. I have PC licence and PS4 licence but i usually only use ps4 for casual farming of crafting mats it can get difficult in raids and dungeons on the ps4.

      • Hey, just curious, but what is the point of having both licenses? Wouldn't it be best to just have it for the PC, and if you're doing random stuff, can just switch to a controller since there is full controller support, and you could always just hook it up with the steam link (which is still $27 from EB) so there's still the couch gaming.

        • One of the reasons I can think of is that some gamers are already invested into the playstation ecosystem and would rather have a separate license for it.

  • Just made an order for lunch tomorrow at the office. No code yet =/

    • Yep, I'm still waiting on a code from an order placed at midday. Friends all ordered at the same time and got theirs.

      • Did your friends get their pizza ASAP or was it ordered for a later time/date?

        • A later time. A mate ordered for Saturday night and paid with Visa. He got his code immediately.

I ordered for Friday night and paid with PayPal.

        • @Cozza38: You will probably receive it after the pizza arrived. You must have turned on Paypal "pay after delivery".

        • @Clementt: It's definitely paid for. Bank account has been deducted and PayPal says transaction completed. Will just wait a day or so :P

        • I also ordered via paypal, I sent an email to the provided feedback link and i'll see what happens.

        • @Cozza38: My pizza has arrived, I'm eating it now. Paypal listed the transaction as 'pre-approved payment'. CBA has yet to deduct funds, and I haven't received the code yet. Sent a feedback email, waiting for reply.

        • @yanhaot: Let me know if you hear anything. I sent an email yesterday, has been over 24 hours and still no code.

        • +2

@Cozza38: sent DM to their twitter with paypal receipt, got my code 37 mins ago in email!

        • @yanhaot: Time to get the 'ol twitter account out! :D

        • @Cozza38: Good luck, hope you get yours soon. Only 3800 codes and they'll prolly run out before the promotion period is over.

        • @yanhaot: looks like I need to do the same

        • @yanhaot:

I've been on contact with the Domino's twitter and have not have my key sent.

I may have to raise a PayPal dispute and get a refund.

        • @Chirpy: I contacted them both through feedback and twitter. Twitter took 2 hours, feedback only got back to me after 2 days and provided the same key again.

        • @yanhaot:

I contacted them through feedback and twitter.

Feed back hasn't responded and Twitter is still investigating apparently.

        • @Chirpy: Took over 3 days talking to them via twitter. They apparently sent me the email several times I received nothing. They gave up and just sent me the code via twitter this morning.

        • @Cozza38:

They managed to resolve the issue. Got the code direct through twitter. For whatever reason it wouldn't arrive in an email.

        • @Cozza38: Had them as a blocked sender from promo emails

        • @justjack: Well done hahaha. I don't use gmail or anything, I have my own domain etc and pay for hosting. Dominos emails have always arrived after an order in the past, got nothing but a paypal email this time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • Code is in the "promotions" folder on my gmail. It's in a Dominos email and a page down.

  • Just placed an order for immediate delivery, paid via credit card. Code showed up 2 minutes later.

  • +1

For the curious 3 pizzas and a drink and garlic bread delivered can be had from anywhere from $28-37 depending on available current or ongoing deals.

But the usual is around $35-37.

Some places do $27 3 pizzas delivered some do $30 some do $33 for 3 pizzas and 2 sides some do $37 for 3 pizzas and 3 sides.

So this ffxiv deal is around $13 - $22 depending on your deals in your area. Every store is different.

    • I'd pay $8 a pizza, and $3 for the coke and garlic bread. $27

So for me the game is $23 which is still a bargain.

      • Pizza and final fantasy. No matter how I see it to me this is a definitely win win.

  • If it is anything like FFXV,your pizzas will be incomplete

  • -4

If you don't mind waiting and don't want the pizza then https://www.base.com/Games/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Heavensward-PS4…. $26.72 delivered.

    • That's just the expansion, you need the base game A realm reborn as well.

Some bundles have the lot, but this one looks like it does not.

  • was just about to get in the action …but realised there's a monthly subscription fee!! i thought PS4 would have just required ps plus

    • FFXIV is a separate online service to PS+.

  • +1

    Wish this is FF XV

  • Does anyone know if you HAVE to pick from their Final Fantasy Mogul pizza range or can you pick other Traditional pizza's?

    • You can pick from other traditional pizzas. The mogul range is just renamed traditional pizzas.

  • Just can't shake the feeling that I'm not paying for 3 pizza's and a game, rather I'm buying into a future cash burn because ofvthe subscription model. It's like $50 + $14 (and onwards). So more like 64$ for a pizza and a game to play for a reasonable amount of time. Hmmm - I do like FF though.

    • +1

Yeah it's something you have to consider with this, but you don't have to pay every single month unless you want to play that much. If you haven't played FFXIV before on the platform you choose, then I think you get 30 days free.

Still though, this is cheaper than the latest expansion by itself, so it's a really good deal if you're prepared to go into it.

  • Has anyone's order taken the 24 hours for the code to be sent? I just made an order which kept failing for the delivery option, so I did pickup instead, and payment was through credit card. No codes as yet, but I did get a promo email from Square for FFXV…what a complete tease.

    • Got mine the following day in an email from Domino's titled: Stormblood Pizza & Gaming Bundle

  • Anyone have trouble redeeming the code? Mine is saying code not valid when I try to add it through My Account > Register Product.

Or do we specifically have to redeem through the link from the email?

  • +1

Can you post-pone the 30 day sub that's included in the code? If it's free up to level 35, and you're a slow player, why waste the in game time?

  • Is this game need ongoing online purchases for credits to play like that? like to get it. our pc is only on window 7 normal built in graphic card. how much would FFXIV worth normally?

    • +1

i wouldn't suggest playing this with an inbuilt graphics card, and yes there is ongoing online purchases, it's called a subscription and costs $14 a month.

  • Anyone willing to sell their FF code for PC? Not really after dominos pizza, especially after finding pieces of meat in my vegeterian pizza.

  • Seems the deal is now closed
