So effectively the machine becomes free (or at least $0.30 :) )
    $118 - 15% = $100.30;
    Less $40 rebate
    Less $60 coffee credit

    Good value.

    • +1

      Don't forget 1.3% cashback with CashRewards :)

      • +1

…And that tips it over the edge, you are basically being paid to drink coffee!

      • hi I am very new please can u tell me how you claim cash back rewards.thanks

    • +6

      Youre paying $60 for coffee.

      • Unless OP can sell the $60 coffee credit for $60 (highly unlikely), then he's getting a free coffee machine for nothing.
However an unusable coffee machine worth nothing, until he starts to buy pods with real money.

        • Kinda

    • do you have to buy some coffee pods first before you can redeem the $60 credit?

  • +1

How much coffee can you buy with the $60 credit

    • +1

about 80 pods, depending on what you choose.

    • Each pack of 10 ranges from $6.90 - $8.50 depending on which ones you get.

    • cheapest sleeve is $6.80 for 10 capsules ($0.68 a capsule), so close to 9 sleeves for $60 credit.

      • I remember seeing 68c too. I think Nespresso has bumped up prices on their site now because it's showing 69c.
        Wonder when that happened.

        • +3

          outrage!

        • No one knows when it happened because everyone uses off brand capsules.

  • +1

I wonder if you'd be able to put the coffee credit towards the Welcome Offer?

    https://www.nespresso.com/au/en/welcomeOffer

    • +1

You can. I had $95 coffee credit and bought the $99 welcome pack for $4.

      • +6

        $99-$95=$4, math checks out.

      • How do I know when the credit has gone through. I got an email saying that my claim has been accepted but I don't know if it takes time after that or not.

        • +1

It does take time. If it takes too long, email Nespresso. It should be reflected in your account afterwards.

  • Cheers OP :)

  • Got one, thanks OP!

  • +1

Can you use the receipt from ebay to claim this offer? Ie does nespresso consider ebay an eligible retailer?

    • Yeah, I'm also unsure if it falls under "a retailer which only operates online stores with no shop fronts" since I can't tell whether they'll class the retailer as eBay or TGG

    • +2

I got a proper invoice from TGG when picking up items bought from their eBay store.

    • +1

TGG will give you their own invoice. I don't think Nespresso can tell that you bought it from ebay.

    • +1

Best bet is to pick it up instore - they give you a Good Guys receipt with the full price listed and no mention of ebay etc.

      • Thanks! Got one!

  • Can't buy Concierge on ebay unfortunately. That is worth $180 in store credit over 3 years.

How does Essenzia compare to Inissia, aside from the missing Aeroccino?

    • TGG store person told me they are all the same when it comes to coffee taste.

      • I meant, are there any features missing or difference in operation?

        • Mostly just a Smaller spent capsule container and a smaller water tank

  • Showing as $118 for me?

  • Got a Inissia for 2 years and loving it
Can't resist with this great offer, buy it as a spare … OzB make me spend more :(

    • Yeah i was thinking this willbe a good spare just in case mine breaks. I have had it for 3 years.

  • What's the coffee like?

  • Are the pods recyclable?

  • Sorry to ask a dumb question. What about the milk and how will it froth? Do we have to arrange that separately? I have absolutely no idea about coffee machines at all. Sorry :(

Also, does one capsule makes one cup of coffee?

    • You will have to buy a separate frother. They can be had for around $25 from Coles/Woolies/Aldi.

Yes one pod is for one cup of coffee.

      • Those woolies frothers are terrible. They don't compare to Aeroccino which is like $90.

        • Ah fair enough, haven't had experience with it. I use the Aldi one which hasn't given me any issues.

        • @unco:

One on KMart too for 29$. May try that. Never disappointed with Kmart.

  • Got one - thanks OP

  • so performance wise, does the same thing as all their other varities right? like Citiz and Inissia etc.?

  • Hi, not sure why i cant apply the code?
This code can't be applied to your order.

    • are you paying by paypal?

      • I wasnt, that's why and I sorted that out. Thank you

    • Got one thanks Op! I should have got it delivered oh well… all good.
      Thanks :)

  • Can anyone recommend on the quality of coffee they produce?

    • +1

Top notch. Better than any other pod machines out there (Aldi, Nescafe).

  • Thanks op got one.

  • Can the Nespresso Coffee Credit only be used online. Anyone know how much they charge for delievery if ordering online?

    • +1

T&C 10: "The credit must be redeemed in full in a single transaction by Sunday 12 November 2017 and may only be used to purchase Nespresso capsules, (excludes accessories). Free standard delivery is included with redemption."

  • what is the process for the cashback?

  • We've a Nespresso U I've kept going with a few repairs but maybe time to move it on. I noted some other machines here, any recommendations. We don't need a built in frother,

    • Ring up Nespresso, last time I broke one they couriered out one to use while they fixed the broken one, I packed up the broken one into the spare/replacement box, they paid courier fees and 2 sleeves of coffee pods arrived with the fixed machine a couple of weeks later.

      • Yes, they tend to offer a pretty big discount as well. I'll see what they can match on a U

  • As there were great feedback, I have bought one. Thanks OP.

  • Any recommendation for pods? As said, I have no idea about these :( Also, what's their usual expiry period?

    • +3

Nespresso pods are actually decent quality. You can call them expensive when compared with the 3rd party brands but honestly, I'd rather buy Nespresso pods to keep my quality of the morning coffee. I mean I already save 25-30$ by avoiding cafe's unless needed.

I'm a big fan of the Livanto, Indriya, Roma and Fortissio Lungo (long black). Missus likes the Ciocattino, a bit sweet toothed. You can also head to any of the Nespresso stores and try their range. Like a wine tasting booth!

      • Thank you so much. I will find their store and pay them a visit to see.

  • Great deal! If only it also came with the milk frother, then this would be awesome!

  • +1

Does it come with free tasting pods 16 I think?

    • Couldn't find that in the item description. So maybe.

    • From a photo in amazon with similar range
it does comes with the 16 pods

      https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71MTB-vSbbL…

    • +3

Just picked one up and it does come with the sample pods.

      • Thanks. Getting one for the pods

    • Should do

    • Mine came today via delivery but no pods…

      • +1

None inside the box? There was in mine (pickup though)

      • Really? I didn't manage to order before it was pulled from eBay listing.

      • Nope nothing in the box…. I sent them an eBay message to see if anything could be done

        • theyre sending me a set of sample pods :)

  • +2

Yes it does comes with 16 testing pods.

  • Thanks OP, great find!

  • anyone know if u get a proper receipt if u get it delivered? No GG in my area

  • +1

Still resisted it despite the pretty good deal. Trying to get off coffee anyway

    • +1

      Me too. Good work :)

    • +1

Coffee is good for your health.

  • "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing."

  • Can you use aldi pods in these???

  • Sold out

  • +1

Great it's sold out. I dont need to spend money on things dont really need.

    • +1

More like, they forgot to hike the prices in time for the 15% off deal.

      "Error in listing". Sure. Whatever.

  • Thank you OP! great bargain :) Got myself one finally

  • How does the Lavazza Nespresso pods compare to the original Nespresso pods? Anyone ta!

    • it is a matter of taste. Above is made in "Fiat town". Imho their coffee has better evolved than their cars.

  • quasi perfect coffee (considering the little time needed to brew one)
questionable backup for them ever failing switches. I had to hardwire mine.
