Hi guys,
First time posting so please be kind.
Myer is having a limited sales of these (till 11.59pm tonight).
Already price-checked and this seems like a very good deal to me, especially those who are on a budget and do not have the QC35s.

35 has ANC too!
yeah but so are the prices. if you want some decent sounding cans and can't spend more than $150, these are a good purchase.

QC25 over this anyday!
ANC make the QC25 worth it easily.
But they are another $80? Can't really compare…
I used to think like that then i got these headphones.
QC35 over QC25 anyday though. Personally can NOT stand wired anymore.
If these sound like the QC35, I'd look into something like the Audio Technica M50x instead, for around the same price or just a bit more. I much prefer the sound of the M50X over my QC35.
Of course. Bose's specialty is cancelling noise, not making it :)
I actually agree with this, M50x > This deal. But only if you're stationary, because otherwise the stock cable becomes tedious and difficult to use on the go. Portability of those Audio Technica 3.5mm jack cables / 1/4 inch are ridiculous as well as the length.

The M50x comes with three cables; one of them is short 1.2m one that's great for on-the-go use.
The plugs look good to me, they have screw-on 1/4" TRS adaptors if you need 1/4".

Incompetent Myers just refunded my iPad today. Charged me 3 days ago then email me today to say no stock. Awesome!
Their website is terrible. But their returns policy is amazing.
Don't waste money in this. Save for QC35 or QC25.
Noise cancelling is overrated anyway. Also they sound crap running off their internal amplifier. Some well isolated headphones will almost always be enough.
You couldn't be any more wrong.
It is NOT overrated by any means, whilst you're entitled to your opinion on a product. The concept of ANC is most definitely not overrated. It's extremely useful for individuals that live in urban environments and would like to listen to music uninterrupted not having to hear the child 2ft away crying his head off, on a train.
I have IEMs and can't hear babies crying on the train…And they don't cost as much as the QC35s…And they sound better.
A lot of people prefer headphones because earphones don't sit right for me personally. Also we were talking about noise cancelling, not products.
Sometimes you just want some quiet. IEMs still allow sound through, especially the lows. All my IEMs do, both universal and custom. If you listen to music then yes, the music will drown out external noise.
The QC35 cancels out lows very well. Foam earplugs cancels out mids and highs very well. When I want silence on a plane, I wear foamies then put on the QC35. It's really, really quiet then.
@eug: Fair enough. But I mean, when I usually have my earphones on, I'm listening to music. I don't really put them on to drown out noises.
Looks like you've all drunk the marketing coolaide :D the QC35 are great headphones, don't get me wrong. But they sound much better with the NC off..
35 is wireless. Incomparable.
