      A few similar games like this would be The War of the Worlds (2011), Limbo (2010), The Cave (2013), Another World – 20th Anniversary (2013), Valiant Hearts: The Great War (2014), Child Of Light (2014), Ori and the Blind Forest (2015), Shadow Complex remastered (2016) and Little Nightmares (2017).

        Thanks, i will have to look up War of the Worlds. I didn't know it existed. These side scrolling adventures are awesome. Let's not forget the amazing Inside (2016?).

        Nice list! Also "The Swapper" is absolutely excellent. Visuals, style, soundtrack and philosophical narrative.

    Played it on 360 and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    PC version has an exclusive alternate ending that can be unlocked by completing the game in "Nightmare" mode
