  • ahhh $10 extra :(

    • +1

      Still a nice 25% off
and $10 is little to pay considering you're still saving $70 for those who missed out yesterday

  • lookin at this deal just on teh surface - AMAZING

  • meh $200 for 23" is just average..

  • Mainly see 23" =P

  • Why is it $10 more?

    • Dunno ask the person sitting behind the desk who posted this deal.
I guess it's because the other deal sold out in less than 4 hours (that's 56 sold in less than 4 hours), so the genius thought he/she would make Dell some more money and post it $10 more thinking it will sell just as good.

  • I have a BenQ 24" monitor does anyone think they will look the same size sitting next to each other?

    • Well this is 23", so this monitor would be a bit smaller lol.

      • Unless the BenQ was 16:10 in which case this would look one heck of A LOT smaller

        • Actually I have a 22" LG and 24" BenQ sitting side by side and from a distance you can't really tell the difference.

          • @scrimshaw: I think that might be because your 22" is 16:10 and your 24" is 16:9?
cause vert height on 16:9 24" is the same as the vert height on a 22" 16:10

            • @Trance N Dance: Yeah that could be why, my LG is a 1680x1050 while the BenQ is 1080

              • @scrimshaw: Yeap that explains it
Although there's more pixels overall in a 16:9 monitor compared to a 16:10 monitor at 22 or 24" The physical vert height is dramatically different

    I see they have a 24" model but alas its $295 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Dell-ST2420L-Full-HD-Monitor-24-24-in…

    • Clicked + accidentally! Anyway, the link sells for $259 24" :)

  • Is this one okay for PC gaming?

    • +1

I'd say it would be perfect for PC gaming. Although it's response time is 5ms as to 2ms with other non-LED TN panels, but seriously can anyone tell the difference, or notice the ghosting in FPS games?
Better colours, a good price and a safe feeling knowing that you're covered by a 3 year warranty from Dell.

  • Ahhh. I can't decide. It's awfully tempting, I've wanted a new monitor for a while..but just because I CAN, not because I NEED to.

Got a 19" Samsung (940BW) at the moment, had it a couple of years and it's been good, but of course I want something new and shinier!

Question: is WLED going to make a big difference over LCD? Is it worth buying this or can I afford to wait? There are plenty of monitor deals that go around, but I have to hold back each time..

I don't quite understand the whole LED deal - from what I gather, this WLED technology is the cheaper alternative. But I'm sure it still has a very high sex appeal ;)

    Someone help :p

    • tbh i dont think these are any good deals anyway…199/189. they were on ebay website forever. just hold on for a bit.soon enough they will have better deal.

  • I just picked one up, $199 WLED 23' 3 year warranty. Ticked all the right boxes for me.
