free good guys vouchers i got via the newsletters…

      Good times, good times :)

      • Yep you could also stack 2 codes in one transaction with no minimum spend.

      • When was that promotions?
        Seems like i missed it.

    • Lol, Same here I also got the Breville using the Good Guys vouchers. Also got a Tefal grill and saucepans with those vouchers.

My parents bought me one of these and it was terrible. Not sure if it was because I usually use Coles/Woolworths bread but it would always split near the crust and the filling would spill out. Also the toasting was uneven resulting in some parts quiet dark and some parts barely toasted.

Mine works fine, I've been using it for ages, you need big bread to make sure all the 'seams' are in the right place, people putting lots of fillings and normal sized bread are gonna have a bad time

Kmart $7 sandwich press does a pretty good job. IMO

Personally I prefer the non scissor and cut design so I can make nice egg jaffles and the like. But thanks anyway OP.

Yeah same. Go the Breville "The Big One" linked above - not as good as our old 80's Breville was, but the best I've been able to find that does full squares (no diagonal cuts).

  • Super heated teflon? No thanks.

  • I have one, works great. I suspect the people having issues are not wise to the finer arts of jaffle construction.
