    Geez that's a great price. Tempted to pull the trigger; can someone who's smarter than I give their thoughts on these compared to QC35/MDX1000?

      Short story is:
      - Better sound quality than QC35
      - better volume controls (where you swipe, similar to the MDR1000X instead of the painful one button does all in the QC35)
      - heavier than the QC35 (QC35 - 236g, Parrot Zik 3 270g, MDR1000X 275g)
      - has auto pause same as the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 (similar to the MDR1000X with the hand covering an ear, but the QC35 doesn't have it)
      - much shorter battery life (QC35 - 20h, Parrot Zik 3 6h, MDR1000X 20h).

      The short battery life was a killer for me so I sold mine. It's a bit shit too since Parrot list '18 hours' on their site but this is actually just with ANC on, not while playing music.

    I've got the first iteration of these, still going strong. Great sound quality, comfortable, a little heavy though. Would upgrade but I spent this price on the originals a few years ago last time there was a Parrot Zik bargain! Jump on it if you're on the fence.

      Got a pair of Zik 1 advertised on OzB a few years back. Still going strong. Better than QC35 for sound quality. Battery life not an issue for me. It's plugged in when on long journeys.
