  • Wish this deal was also available for Sydney stores.

  • oh god, 70$ of chocolate con churros? prepare to pop.

    • +4

that would only be around 2 churros, right ?

      • Nah its more like 30-40 if i remember correctly

  • $70 is a bit much!

While $34 for $70 of chocolate is a good deal, remember you have to use it all in one sitting. No cashback or carry over. As they don't have meals there (unless you eat chocolate doughnuts for dinner), it would be hard to spend that much there in one sitting unless you are going there with a big group.

    • Do churros freeze well?

      • +1

I wouldn't think so. If you microwave them, they would probably become very soft. Maybe a combo of microwave defrost and oven.

I might add, San Churro advertise a coupon in the Entertainment book. Bought a couple of coupons (Buy 1 get one free drinks, churros) on EBAY for $1.

        • ppl actually sell entertainment book vouchers on ebay?!?! each year, i have so many vouchers left in my book (i probably use about 10?)

(runs off to ebay some vouchers)

        • They're nice and all, but fairly pricey, if I remember. $7 gets 2 and some dipping sauces.

However, according to the menu, they also have truffles now and possibly other take home items in store (if I remember correctly from my visit)

For those who've been … I'm wondering if you can get take home packs of the Dulce De Leche or their chocolate dipping sauce :)

UPDATE sorry, it says menu items only, though I think truffles are on the menu

  • While you're at it, if you're getting drinks for a bunch of people, you could try to get the "Order of San Churro".

    http://sanchurro.com.au/orderofsanchurro.php

Buy 9 drinks, get the 10th free and 10% discount after that :P

  • can i have a drink, churros then use the balance to buy other stuff? like choc packs or those mugs thingy?
or is it only for dine in only?

    • It says menu items only.
