Great deal which will never be repeated ever :(

        • Never say never

        • @Ezy: Never?

        • @Ezy:
          Never
          1. Sellers were posting $1 plastics forks with a 'bonus' PS4/iphone etc, so Ebay had employees monitoring deals to see if it was legitimate.
          2. A number of customers made complaints as they thought they weren't going to get their BBQs from that smart guy who was drop shipping from applianceonline. Small issue, but an issue nonetheless which would have involved the investigation team.

      • Depends on how much they jacked up the Webbers by. lol

Just bought a couple of hundred bucks worth of stuff from Rolan last week. FFS.

    • I wanted to get some 4wd tires from them what freight company do they use?

      • AusPost for mine. Large package of brake rotors.

        • -1

Doubt it would be Australia Post for 4WD tyres, they have a weight limit of 22KG.

        • -1

@Scab: Mine was 21.6kg. Just under.

        • -1

          @Peace Maker:

Unless he's buying just a couple, a set of 4WD tyres would weigh more than 22KG.

  • Thanks OP, have got 4 X SUV tyres in my cart from Tempe tyres, even without discount they're $100/tyre cheaper than prices here in Perth

    • How do you get them fitted and balanced?

      • +1

Know a friend who's got a tyre shop here.

I see you're in Perth too, the shop is Westate Autobahn in Northbridge if you want to do the same.

        • What tyres did you go for?

          Need some 235/75/15 A/T

        • @albanyson:

          265/40/21, bloody expensive here

        • +3

Warren's in Morley does a good job, $20 a tyre, fitted and balanced.

    • -1

Make sure they're not expired or factory seconds. Tempe are knows for selling these to unsuspecting customers.

      • -1

Source? Ad says it's brand new so eBay guarantee if otherwise.

      • I've bought many tyres from tempe, they always have recent manufactured date on the tyre.

      • +1

I read, not experienced, that they sell grey import tyres too. Which can mean they are not the same as local variants. ie: Local might be LT construction, import not.

      • Just got the tyres delivered today, brand new with stickers and dated week 15 2016. Blistering fast 3 day delivery from NSW to Perth.

  • +1

Okay what car thing do i buy?

    • Depending on if any of the participating stores have stock, get everything you need to clean your car inside and out, that's what I'm gonna do

  • Great! Have to check if there are any Tyres for my NINJA

  • Is there any reason this code will not work on parts bought from the US, via the ebay Au website?

I'm looking at bringing in some tyres from the US. They aren't available here.

  • I couldn't find any car batteries in the sale :(

  • Battery inverter for your house…. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/272741701778

Listed under car parts because its used in motorhomes and caravans.

    • Forgive my ignorance but is this a real option? I have 2 grid connected systems and am sick of giving my power back to the grid….

      • Yep sure is. Chuck one of these in with a few lead acid batteries and add some panels or use some existing (reconfigured) panels. Happy days.

  • I bet it will be targeted.

    • at people who dont drive no doubt

  • Thanks OP. Hopefully I can get a good deal on some passenger car tyres and wiper blades!

  • How's tempe tyres? Are they shit?

    • Worst tyre shop in Sydney.

      • expect a 4hr wait on average.

  • Can anyone suggest which wiper blades would fit my mom's car. Honda 2012 1.8L. The wipers move from inside to out

    • +1

Is it Australian delivered or American?

    • Go into super cheap auto and find whether they are narrow, wide, etc.

      I think they're all bidirectional.

But i know nothing about cars

  • Will the tyres be cheaper via ebay or tempe tyres directly ?

    • +1

Almost certainly once you factor in fitting tempe tyres will be cheaper, if you can get there

  • I think a few other vendors will be joining this.. justjapracing just put their prices up about 15% :(

  • Good to see that tyres are now on free delivery! 15% off is even better!

  • Any of these store do spark plugs? After NGK LFR6A cheapest i have found is $15 a plug instore
Online (ebay)is in UK $28Aud for a pack of 4 delivered. But have to wait on postage

  • Any good car tyres deals (need a set of 4) for 185/60R15? Something in the Continental or Bridgestone brand?

    • You could go for 195/60R15 RE003 Bridgestones

      • Thanks. Will it be fine to fit slightly higher profile tyres? Would something like Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 195/65R15 91H OR CONTINENTAL Tyre CONTIULTRACONTACT 5 185/65R15 88H be fine to fit on the car you think?

        • 195/65 would be too tall, going 195/60 would only be 2% taller and Speedo diff over your standard 185/60. I haven't tried the contis but would highly recommend the re003's.

        • @FeZZa21: ah ok thanks mate. Yeah I recently put on the re003's on my other car and they're amazing tyres - had them for about 6 months now.

This car which we use a lot of long distance driving came with contis from the factory and they've been really good tyres hence just thought to replace them with the same.

        • @PLA74:
If you got experience with them then go for it :)

  • eBay's 15% tyre discount is actually terrible value compared with "Buy 3 tyres and get the 4th free" deals:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/4th+free?c=9

The buy 3 tyres get the 4th free deals are better on pricing (ie. 25% discount), have more locations. Plus the discount applies across delivery + fitting + balancing + tyre disposal (which is extra cost for eBay tyres). Plus potential to negotiate on pricing and zero delivery time.

Amazed that so many OzBargainers will vote for a 7 day eBay tyre deal but not for a month long manufacturer promotion!?!

    • +2

Let me explain and clear up the AMAZED :) :
      1. Those deals 4 tyres for the price of 3 are for 4 ones of the same size tyres. I have called a few shops and some of them declined the deal for staggered set (Bridgestone shop, Tyrola).
      2. Availability for staggered is limited as well. If front ones are available then rears are not or vice versa.
      3. The deals 4 for price of 3 are usually for those that get sold slow or outdated or expensive or else. Not the ones I wanted to.
      4. Budget tyres or tyres that won't cost you a hand not included in the sale 4 for 3.
Therefore I bought as soon as i have got this deal from ebay. Saved myself $58 on the tyres that I was prepared to buy from Tempetyres anyway.
While I was waiting for my set to be fitted, i checked their website for the tyres. The result's AMAZED me most popular sizes (215-235/ 40-45/ 17-18) for affordable tyres were sold before 1:30 pm today.
