Is there any particular time of year that sales occur on PC components? or did I miss the boat at the EOFY?
Building a new gaming/VR rig, don't wish to reuse anything from my old rig, so the more bits and pieces I can pick up on special, there more I can put towards other goodies.
Best Time for PC Components?

$926, wait a week for stock.
204pin laptop ram has been 50% more expensive than this time last year
good time now when u using u need it okay. GPU expense now but u need it buy seconds
Computer prices aren't seasonal, you are likelier to get better deals around april/may for end of financial year sales, and around november/december for xmas/boxing day sales. Black friday sales for the usa, which has spread here abit.
Starting to see that, looks like I might be waiting a few months, at least for gpu.
Black Friday. With AUD getting strong, you could buy a lot of components from Newegg and Amazon and even though the shipping takes away from the savings abit, you can still save roughly 10~20% depending on what kind of deals you can get.
Not a good time for ddr4 ram and graphics cards. I think the price for gpus will drop, but I have no idea if ram prices will
I'm on the same boat. The prices mid time last year were the best, if only I was planning to build a PC then.
It's gotten ridiculous. I'm trying to do a custom loop on a wall mount case, so every bit saved adds up quick. Guess I'll just hold onto the case for a few months and see if things change before the end of the year.
Black Friday it is then.
When your gaming neighbour is out.
graphics card had gone up in price by around $100-200
