1070s and 1080TIs are the most popular for mining currently.
I was looking at benchmarks of this card. For gaming, compared to my 1070 GTX, frame rates are about 50% faster, but the power draw is 50% more. So the power efficiency is the same.
This is an extremely powerful card and can drive a 4K monitor without issues, unlike the 1070 GTX.
Exactly right MissKitty, got myself a 1080ti and 4 x 1070s in one rig, contemplating grabbing this one to add.
The AMD cards are slowing down in terms of ETH, unsure if the issues will be resolved. While the NVIDIA are expensive, they have good resale value and excellent hash rates vs power consumption.
Amazon and Newegg are both out of stock now.
