Mini review on mouse from Amazon:
4.0 out of 5 starsFantastic other than a completely clumsy mousewheel

!!! UPDATE THE FIRMWARE WHEN YOU RECEIVE THIS MOUSE !!!
Pros:
- Weight is perfect
- Fits my hand great, the movable pieces really help. The gaps/ridges everywhere is kind of weird, but positioned as such that they don't really matter.
- Movement and accuracy is perfect.
- Software is pretty good. A few things lacking in what you can put on the buttons but nothing major.
- Great cable durability, doesn't get coiled/wrapped up on desk things like other mice.
- Works well on Razer Sphex gaming skin (hard surface for lasers). Though a spec of dust is noticeable, so keep it clean.
- Had an issue in the past, emailed support, got a new firmware version to test which fixed the problem. They later released the firmware. Logitech wouldn't have tried to fix the software and let me try it, ever! Gamdias is pretty good (though their support is no good at english, communication was not easy)
Cons:
- Mouse wheel is like a fat lady stuck between the table and chair at mcdonalds. But seriously, it's pretty difficult to move. It makes scrolling through weapons in games like Halflife 2 or Minecraft very annoying. The worst part is there is very little grip, the wheel is smooth. No notches.
- Weird default button settings, one of which opens the driver's website.
- The lights are gaudy
- Need to update firmware to fix some bugs regarding clicking while moving the mouse simultaneously. I've been struggling with some unexplainable "I can't attack while aiming" or "I can't let go of my mouse while moving" for MONTHS. Finally had the idea to update the firmware, problem solved.
Overall:
Definitely a great mouse. The mousewheel is the only meaningful con but, as I said, you get used to it. It's not like it doesn't work, it's just more stubborn than the mouse you are probably using right now. Maybe you prefer that, though. I don't know.
