Cheap large diameter speaker cable. It is $20 at JB Hi-Fi.

I don't think so, judging by their 18G cable which has a higher price https://www.bunnings.com.au/studio-acoustic-6m-18ga-speaker-…
Looks to be the everyday price according to pricehipster however it is way cheaper than JB
Yep. normal price, it’s always been a great price. They used to sell it under the 5th Room brand, which is what it was when I purchased 35m for $37 in 2011.

Good to know. I didn't even think of Bunnings for speaker cable recently and ended up using surplus Cat5e instead.
maybe you're obviously joking but wouldn't cat5e be way too thin?
twist a few cores together and she'll be right
I also did the same thing. :)
Some audiophiles swear by it. Basically you twist certain stands together and some suggest it provides greater shielding etc. Google it, there is some crazy platting people do :-)
I wont get into the argument of if it is better or improves sound but if guys are using it on equipment worth tens of thousand I wont notice on my humble set-up.
Biggest downside is its very stiff and bulky in comparison.
Everyday price?
