nice price… aussie seller too
$46 from MSY.
Good price.
Edit: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/31837 Looks like they are trying to match/beat a competitior.
WOuld rather go with a Aussie website than a UK website.
anyone having trouble applying the coupon?
i gotta type it in, don't copy and paste!
nope still doesnt work and i even tried using firefox and still doesnt work
Try hitting the Update Qty button after inputting the coupon code.
@Takoosh: Working for me.
Damn, I bought 1 from UK this morning. Cost £26.33 (including Integral Single Slot SD / SDHC Card Reader) = $43.61.
The ShoppingSquare title for this product is class 4 but the pictures and descriptions show a class 2 card… which one is it?
Although, I've bought from them with no problems a few times, I really tire of their description and display inconsistencies (and, of course, implausible and variable shipping costs.)
It happens often enough to:
I just bought one, good price. I also took a screenie of the page to make sure they don't try to substitute it for a C2 card. It clearly says Class4 in the title, so that is what I will get as far as I'm concerned.
Indeed, they're exposing themselves to risk since we're basically within our rights to expect the best price and best feature-set described (whether or not it is inconsistent), and the onus is on them to explain it away as an error.
I still hesitate, though, because — with all the vigilance required in dealing with service providers, banks, gyms, shops, and even government services — I have to prioritise my efforts:
I'd say that I receive a billing error every month, and a pricing error twice per week on average: half the time, even I let it go — as it's not always good use of time and tranquillity.
Actually, I was going to vote positively on this deal until I noticed comments about the coupon being unreliable.
I am going to neg this because people should be made aware before they buy at their own risk..
I bought a Sandisk 16GB Microsdhc of them and it arrived with nothing except a plastic case with no retail pack in a white normal envelope. When I enquired they say it was OEM which made me wonder…. later when I used it for my fone it is always so slow to read that it crashes the fone whenever I play a music. had no problems since I changed to a transcend card. I seriously question if it is a genuine article or one of those cheap copies from ebay? I had sent request to them but all they do is ask you to retun to check and they say they will check…. and all is up to them to claim whatever they see fit and if they claim there is nothing wrong then you even have to pay for their postage to send it back! I have have no time to waste for these people but I hate being cheated so I am letting people know so they can make whatever decision they want.
Did they not send it registered post? And did you pay by PayPal? In which case there are easier ways to get your money back.
They did send by Registered post but in a white envelope with a plastic case for the disk that's it! Nothing else compared with a normal other retail packaging. Nothing to indicate it was genuine or OEM as they claim and it was not noted anywhere on their website either it was an OEM either. I cannot say anything about this Kingston one, I guess you will find out after you buy it, that's why I cautioned people as I felt I got a knock off copy instead of the genuine article as Sandisk are suppose to be reliable, certainly nothing like the one I received.
Bummer, perhaps you did indeed get a dud. I've been using a 16GB Sandisk Microsd from ShoppingSquare since Feb/Mar with no issues so far. Its fast enough to run Android off it on my HD2. Fairly certain it didn't come in a retail pack either.
just bought a 16gb but bought an 8gb from them for my desire months ago, no problems. have bought a few cards from them over the years without a problem.
Yes, lucky you and I could be the unlucky one with a dud but nevertheless Shopping Square should note on their website item was Sandisk OEM….if there was such a thing? People then should have the right to see if they wanted to buy it or not as an OEM. I personally would not have bothered when I could pick one form ebay for the same so called "OEM" for under $10 at ebay for a similar Sandisk 16gbSDHC.
From past experience purchasing from ebay on 'dodgy' cards is that they do work to some extend as normal except for a higher failure rate and slow speed read/write, which causes unknown freezes and crashes!
While I am not saying mine from from Shopping square was not a genuine item , you can understand why I have my reservations…..and I leave it to any buyer to make their own informed decisions rather than buying and then finding out is is an OEM…. or not?
Yo and hello fellow HD2. I got that deal as well. And yes, it came with only cheapass plastic. Also, Android on HD2 is super great isn't it :)
I rather pay 55c more at here:

jacku,
The Kingston Memory card is only available in retail pack in Australian market.
@danilochan: Thanks for your reply. Now I will order from you then. Thanks.
hi shopaholic, thanks for your comments. and there are a few points I would like to clarify here.
1) OEM card from Sandisk didn't comes with Sandisk label. The Sandisk card offered by ShoppingSquare.com.au are either Sandisk retail card (Sandisk label with retails packing) or Sandisk Business card (Sandisk label without retail packing) The performance and function are the same at the class.
2) If you purchasing Sandisk 16gb MicroSD Standard card (Blue or White label), it's a Class 2 card, the reading and writing rate would be slow. You can try to purchase Sandisk Ultra or Kingson Class 4 microSD for better performance. If you believe that's faulty issue, you are welcome to send back for replacement or refund in full.
3) There no risk for anyone purchasing memory card from ShoppingSquare.com.au, all items come with 30days DOA replacement warranty. And we accept PayPal payment which provided buyer protection program.
Firstly, my apologies to poster "Bend" as it was not my intention to be so long winded and took the winds of his/her sails.
danilochan, I did not want to bring this up on the open but seeing you have made comments I feel it is only fair to reply:
1) I paid $44.94 during one of your 'specials' a while back and did not receive the my Sandisk 16gbSDHC in retail pack you claimed above and as with other OZbargainers who are the same as myself received their card in just a normal plastic case "Jacku" and "TheContact"'s comment above but lucky for them their card work fine but mine is just plain slow for my Nokia and for the record the response from your customer service when queried was I quote:
"we could confirm all units are genuine OEM provided by Sandisk authorised distributors.OEM version functions exactly the same as retail full version except the unit does not have retail packaging.
I have the tax invoice and print out from your customer service reply to prove every word of it and will happily post it for everyone to see and can send OZbargain moderator a full copy of transcript if they want.
2) The card sent was a Black Sandisk card Not blue or white.
3) True only if you have the time to muck about for the pain of of it all I would have bought elsewhere reliable.
I am not bragging but I do charged $220 p/h for my professional time at work and time is money that is why I buy online for most items but do not have the time to muck around having to go to post office and send registered post and all for you to easily dispute it is as not faulty and me wasting more time to argue?? As per response from your customer service reply:
"We will strongly recommend using Registered POST or any posting service that will provide a reference for tracking the item(s) being sent. DO keep all information regarding the posting of item(s). Please be reminded that we will NOT be responsible for any lost of item returned to us. Please also label the RA number given and description as "faulty electronics" along with the return address…… ShoppingSquare has NO responsibility on the Shipping and handing fee on any returned items. If buyer send back the item by C.O.D. service, Item will NOT be accepted."
For your reference my complaint lodgement ID number on your system:

If you are genuine and it was an error then do the right thing, send me an email to rectify and post future listing accordingly, how many people get confused with conflicting information on your the products sold online that did not quite match and I was not speaking about just this item either…..
I thought if an item was faulty, the seller had to pay return shipping?
@morini: morini
Yes, if the item is identified as faulty with 30days of purchase, we will credit back the return postage.
shopaholic32
Thanks for the details, our staff is following up your case, and awaiting for your reply.
@danilochan: WHAT REPLY???
Did not receive any response at all from any of your staff and for those interested previous correspondence from them was if they claim the proudct is claim as "not faulty" then not only you had wasted your time and money but as quoted form your previous reply from customer service:
"…..except if after inspection, our technician finds that a unit is in working order(i.e. not faulty) In this case, the item will be sent back to you by using Cash on Delivery (C.O.D)to send to them but also you have to pay them the cost of sending the faulty item back to you"
Hence why would I bother….
accidentally double post….sorry!
I was able to order it. I had to press Update Qty 4 times to get it working properly.
Damn it says desired stock not avail
OUT OF STOCK Was just about to get one :(
For those who missed out:-
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/31837
55c more, and 5-10 day delivery time, but you get the full packaging with the card, not just the card holder thrown in an envelope.
Thanks Josh just bought one. Hopefully it wont take too long to arrive.
I brought their previous 16G SDHC class 10 deal. It arrived under 1 week.
Now, the challenge is how long will www.shoppingsquare.com.au ship this order. I receive nothing about shipping date from them. If that's the case, I suggest people don't buy from them as they always take long time to ship…
so how long does it take to dispatch? brought one a few days ago, and it is still under paid status…..
Same here, should have paid $0.55 more for fast delivery. My last order from MyMemory was the deal hit OzBargain - 16Gb Class 10 SDHC. I got it within a week which they are based in UK.
Looks like www.shoppingsquare.com.au won't ship anytime soon as I got the same status as you. I have send them a support ticket. YOu should do the same to pressure them :)
Appears they have NO STOCK, and is waiting on back order. They said they will get the stock tomorrow (7th Oct)
Got mine today. It is a class 4 card, came in retail blister pack, so all good, took a while though.
BUT: This card is significantly slower than the 2 year old Sandisk Class 4 8GB microSD card I have…
The sandisk card obtains 14.22MB/s sequential writes, against this Kingston's 9.91MB/s, pretty crap really considering other Sandisk C2 cards I have get over 8MB/s.
Never buying Kingston again.
Anyone have any review of how this performs as a class 4 card?
