46% off.
Card cost: £21.89
Apply 5% off coupon code: BACKFORGOOD (thanks PCBEEF for coupon code).
New Card cost: £20.80
Shipping: £1.95 (yes, mymemory charge shipping now)
Total: £22.75 (~AUD$38.50)

Includes SDHC adapter, and 5yr warranty.

NOTE: This is a Class 4 MicroSD card, not the same as the standard SanDisk 16gb. Most 16gb MicroSD cards are only class 2. Class 2 is often not fast enough for video cameras and still cameras with high resolution and high frame rate video recording. And also for smart phones. I bought one for my Nokia 5800, which reportedly does not cope well with class 2 cards, in terms of the operating system, and also video recording.

This is much cheaper than anything else i've seen. Even if you don't require a faster card for your device, this card is comparable in price to other class 2 cards.

  • i bought one…. hopefully they deliver….

    • +5

I've bought from them before and delivery was very prompt!

    • +3

10 normal days from your payment date for delivery
I love it even with the additional shipping costs, this is STILL cheaper than what you pay for in Australia (45 from iibuy - staticice)

      • +1

iiBuy don't sell this card. They sell the class 2 Kingston 16gb for $45.
There are some stores on staticICE which have it, starting at $45 + shipping.

  • Very good deal!

  • Great price, I remember paying $80 for one back in 2008.

  • This is cheap but just so you know the Sandisk 16gb class 2 performs faster than this Kingston class 4 card.

    • how do u know that? proof? review?

    • Class 4 is supposed to be faster than class 2, unless Kingston falsely advertises.

      • +2

Sandisks are widely known to be faster than everything else. Their stuff is usually as faster than other brands in their class.

        • Yes, in their class. But look above, he's talking about class 2 faster than class 4.

          • @nfr: Class 2 = MIN speed of 2mb/s whereas Class 4 = MIN speed of 4mb/s
However, Sandisk microsd cards tend to exceed there min speed ratings by ALOT whereas asian brands such as kingston, transcend, adata etc. all class their cards based on the min. requirement for that class.

ie. Sandisk class 2 can have a transfer speed of up to 12mb/s whereas kingston class 2 will be stuck at its minimum.
Looking at Sandisk class 4 it achieves even better at up to 14-15mb/s, these kingston class 4 cards would not get anywhere near that!

Trust me I researched this alot when I was looking at buying some asian branded class 6 and found that a sandisk class 2 easily exceeded these speeds.

DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GIVING PEOPLE FALSE INFORMATION!

            Here is an example review:
            http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=6104

There are many benchmarks and reviews of this, google it yourself.

            • @motlking: You keep talking about Sandisk class 2 being faster, yet your link points to a review of a class 4 ultra card! You don't mind a bit of a specious comparison yourself; or don't you know the difference? :p

PUT UP OR SHUT UP DUDE! Time to post a link to one of these reviews you keep bleating on about where the Standard Sandisk Class 2 outperforms the Kingston Class 4!!! ;)

              • @StewBalls: are you an idiot?

did you actually read the link? it was a test on a class 4 sandisk but he also did a comparison test with a standard class 2 sandisk. READ: CLASS 2.

Even if the review didn't do a test on a class 2 sandisk, my point still stands. The Sandisk class 4 for performed at 14-15mb/s (as I said). This is exceeding class 10 speeds for other asian brands.

Also that is the quickest review I could find. Dig deeper you will find extensive benchmarks. I don't give a rats if your too you know what to know whats what. Go do your own research. If your too lazy, SHUT YOUR TRAP.

I didn't neg this deal, all I was doing was giving other users who may not have know better some info into a better alternative.

                • -1

@motlking: In other words, you DON'T have any actual information, you're just talking trash as usual! That would be why there's no info available on the topic you've apparently researched so well! Jeez, you also seem to have it in for all things Asian, ignorant much? Where do you reckon pretty much all consumer electronics are made??? :p

Let me reiterate, one more time for you, as you seem to be a bit of a dullard:

Time to post a link to one of these reviews you keep bleating on about where the Standard Sandisk Class 2 outperforms the Kingston Class 4!!!

Answer the question, you reckon you've done all this research, you would if you're so supremely confident! I doubt we'll see it though, you're little more than a troll! :p

                  • -1

@StewBalls: Here you go, benchmarks for Kingston Class 4 and Class 10:
                    http://www.ocworkbench.com/2010/KINGSTON/Kingston-Class10-16…

                    Class 4: Writes @7.16mb/s
                    Class 10: Writes @12.45mb/s

It looks like the Sandisk Class 2 can perform at similar speeds to a class 10 kingston.

StewBalls is such a troll, go F yourself.

                    • -1

@motlking: Ok dude, you seem a little slow. Here's how it goes:

YOU drew a comparison, I've asked YOU to back that up with a DIRECT COMPARISON review in which the Standard Sandisk Class 2 outperforms the Kingston Class 4 i.e. the two cards that are at issue here; and one that you claim to have seen in your substantial research; shouldn't really be too difficult!

I note that you have yet to do this, despite foul mouthed rants and abuse!

Yet again you post another specious analogy! I stand by my assertion that you sir, are a foul mouthed TROLL! :p

                      • -1

@StewBalls: Looks like StewBalls is the only one who doesn't understand the two sets of data to make an easy conclusion.

Some people are just too dumb to comprehend data. Too bad your iq is probably too low to understand this post.

This is my last post in response to dumbballs.

                        • -1

@motlking: Ok, so what you're saying is that you don't have a link to a direct comparison of the two on the same benchmark system using identical, replicable conditions; you know, kinda like an actual scientific experiment!

Yeah, arbitrary figures from different websites using different setups at different times and even different products are even better eh? Way more reliable! Congratulations, you've revolutionised scientific methodology! :p

What you do have, however, is more abuse! You're a keeper mate! :p

                          Yep, you're a TROLL! ;)

            • +2

@motlking: That's so crazy, the class rating doesn't mean much then (when it comes to SanDisk at least).
Why are they selling themselves short? They've lost my business because they haven't advertised true speed of the card.

Oh well, i'll see how i go with this Kingston. Might get a class 2 32gb SanDisk in the future, once they're cheaper.

              • @Josh81: Yeah, not sure why they do that as you can get a Sandisk class 2 much cheaper than buying a class 6-10 of another brand in 16gb size…they almost lost my business till I found out how they perform.

                • @motlking: I got both cards.

Sandisk class 2 and Kingston class 4. How to test them??

  • Would this work in the HTC Desire?

    • Yes

  • I got the same one in MSY for AUD 46.00. Still a bargain.

  • -4

Remember people there is also a BANK FEE for "international credit card charge" it can range from $1.50 to $5 dependant on the cost of the purchase total!

So when you add this all up its almost going to cost $45 thats the same price as a local seller so if you would rather pick up the card local then it can be had for almost the same price.

    • +3

use pay pal will solved the problem. :))

      • Paypal??

        • yes

  • -1

    It's $40.28 when paid by Paypal… But it's still a bargain…

    Thanks

    • ah I missed the 5% discount code…

      • too bad for u… i paid $38.50 :))

        • Huh ?

I applied the 5% discount & still paid #UK23.84 ($A40.01 after paypal took their slice).

And man did the 10 pound cashback thing look dodgy - no way I was going there, in fact it made me a little nervous about buying from mymemory

          • @effgee: Did you actually SEE the 5% discount applied in the order? Strange, worked for me and demere.

  • Anyone signs up for the 15 pounds cashback offer?

    • +1

looked dodgy to me. you need to enter your credit card details then then you get charged after 30days if you dont cancel i think

mymemory is a reputable site in the uk which ships to Australia. I have bought from them before and shipping normally takes 5-10 days to arrive.
They are normally very cheap for memory cards, why would it matter if an overseas site was posted when they ship to Australia and it is cheaper?

umm it is called ozbargain, bargains for aussies, yes overseas companies still count!

      • 5 days? Are you serious? Everytime I buy from mymemory it's always 10 days after payment to get to my mailbox.

        • What city are you in?

When I was in Melbourne, earliest I got it was 5 but average was probably 7. Thats business days ;)
