    Very timely as I was only looking at getting a desktop client yesterday for managing my mail accounts on W10.

    Anyone got any first have experience with emclient? Or other totally free option 😀

        I did see there was one installed but looking at various reviews it is somewhat lacking in order to drive people towards MS's more expensive offerings.

        So was looking for something a bit more substantial.

      I like it. Nice and simple with no bloat, but does everything you expect it to. I also like the UI (I trialled several other mail clients first, and dumped them all because of the UI).

      Bonus, I was having random network connectivity issues on my machine, where all networked apps that used WINSOCK would lose connectivity, and spent months trying to diagnose the problem without luck. I then uninstalled Outlook and moved to eM Client, and never had the issue again.

    I actually like this better than Outlook because of the unified inbox. Purchased Mailbird but it looks so outdated with the Metro UI. Prefer this one although using the free version as I'm only managing my 2 email accounts on my Windows laptop.

    Great timing. My trial license expires today. Started using it because out look search stopped working and weeks of farting around got me nowhere. Em client search is quicker. There's a couple of things I still have to get used to. Most irritating is not being able to copy text from an email you're viewing. You have to open it to copy. Bizarre
