Dunkirk edition - leave your tank behind and run for the beach.

    • No spoilers pls. Kidding aside, after watching Inception I made a 'vow' not to watch any trailers, and avoid spoilers like the plague for any Nolan movie and to watch them without knowing a single thing. If a trailer came up in a movie theater I had earbuds and id just listen to music. Saw interstellar 3 times as a result.

      • Haha, I think Nolan would approve of that approach. He deliberately left Matt Damon off all Interstellar marketing material for that reason. Smart move!

      • When a movie is made about a piece of history its a little harder to avoid how the story goes.
Hollywood does take liberties with historical fact but that can only go so far.

When's "American Sniper 2: New Orleans" getting released?

      • Spoiler: Germany loses

        • 4 years later.. however they were very much the early winners.

History has taught me that Microsoft has a tendency to make a few pricing errors every now and then and although it's unlikely with this, I'm claiming it now and asking questions later!

Still kicking myself over that Resident Evil bundle that I took too long to purchase!

    • Given it is also on the PS4 store I don't think it is a Microsoft pricing error… WoT often have free bundles for new users..

    • I'm still burning over the Res Evil thing too :(

    • Never forget the free $10 for Fallout 4.

      • That's another one I missed out on…but wasn't a big deal for me as some of the others I let slip.

        • I didn't have an Xbox at the time, so I'm with you on missing out. But never forget.

  • No love for PC ? Im struggling to keep my elephant running

  • Is this for Xbox gold only?

    • Nope, can be purchased by anyone. :)

  • Don't even have an XBONE. Got it anyway :)

    • How? The buy button is grayed out for me.

  • How are people grabbing these, the buy button is grayed out for me on the MS site and on the Xbox itself it says "Not currently available"

Maybe because I've added the free version to my account. It does say new registrations only in the Description for the Dunkirk booster kit.

Also it doesn't really add all that much. The base game is already free to play and the Dunkirk edition just adds:

    • German Panzer
    • Special Consumable
    • Silver Xp boasts
  • Logged me into my Microsoft account and said that it worked for me :)

  • Actually the S35 was NOT A GERMAN TANK. The SOMUA S35 was a French Cavalry tank of the Second World War built from 1936 until 1940. After the fall of France many S35s were taken into service with the Wehrmacht (around 300), repainted, very slightly modified (adding a new top hatch), and renamed using standard (a bit complex) nomenclature to "Panzerkampfwagen 35-S 739(f)". It was normal German practice to take and use equipment of the overrun countries. So, the S35 was not German, was not named "Panzer S35", and was rather average design, very far from "the ominous". Microsoft is trying to rewrite the history here.
